Best local Italian hands down...moved in close by and definitely becoming a regular here! My favorites are the lasagna and spaghetti for sure but it's all good food here! And don't forget of course, the tiramisu!! Only wish for a larger wine selection and a Syrah but my review is solely based on my experience and the food quality here 10/10‼!
Great service, good food prices are not high. I really enjoyed my time there. New owners take over next 30 days. Hopefully they improve the atmosphere while keeping the food quality
Disappointing. not even anyone else there and poor service took a long time to get my food. nice enough but never even asked how it was or offered to refill my water. maherghita pizza has just regular cheese and lacks flavor. had to offer hot pepper to be edible. large and decent price but my homemade is tastier and could have made from scratch in the time i waited. great reviews and wanted to find a new local place to go but no luck. maybe just a bad one off and might try again
This place is full of crazy fun people. You don't know it at first but then the waiter will crack a joke that you weren't expecting. The attitude of the staff makes the experience very pleasant. Also they speak Italian which makes me suspect someone here knows a lot about Italian food. The food is very good, especially the pasta. They make the desserts and those are amazing.
Excellent food and service at reasonable prices, we got the check and my wife thought they had forgot to add something.
Great staff and food!!!!!!!
Do not go to Olive Garden . This place is traditional.
AMAZINGGGG! ♡♡♡ I have tried just about everything on the menu and I LOVED every single thing! Absolutely my favorite ?
Went today without reservation. We were 15 persons and the food and the service was nice. I will definitely go back to this little gem.
I waited a few days to post this review.. with the hopes that I would have changed my mind about this place.. BUT I have not. I am a La Mesa Resident and I always try to give my business to our locals, and I wanted to give this place a try. I work in Mission Valley and decided that instead of us trying to go out or me to rush home and cook I would just grab some take out on the way home, and hubs was feeling like Italian that night. So I called in my order. Simple right?Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo ( I added Shrimp), Garlic Bread, and a Creaser Salad- Very simple...Now when I got there of course there was not parking, I had to park around back, pay and walk to the front.. no big deal it's La Mesa.. Walked inside, and they looked semi busy there was two parities and a family. I said who I was and that I was there for a to go pick up. THE Staff was super polite by the way... (way I gave 3 stars instead of 2) I paid the bill, and even left a tip. Waited a few minuets and the food was brought out very hot. I only live 3 blocks away and the food smelled SO delicious, imagine my disappointment when I open up the trays. The Lasagna looked like something from a frozen box, the portion was about that size as well. Hubs ate it but was not happy with the out come at all. The garlic bread was looked and smelled very garlicy (just the way I like it) but I could not bite in to it. I was so hard. The salad was ok. it really was lacking the dressing. They only gave us 2 little dressing packs. Then here was my Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp... The first thing I noticed when I opened mine up was there was no white sauce.. the second thing I saw was there was mushroom - I don't like or eat mushrooms.. I tried to just pick out the pasta and shrimp but it ended up being no go for me. I put the pasta in the fridge thinking that maybe my hubs would warm it up the next day..NOPE We ended up tossing out the left overs. Needless to say it was a big fail and waste of money

Hands down my new favorite Italian restaurant. Food is absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. Place was packed with servers running around, but still pulled off great service. We'll be back again
Visiting from NJ .. we had the best meal and the best time at Tiramisu... Were a party of 8 and everyone loved every single item.
This is my go-to Italian place. I meet groups of friends here, go with just one friend, and go with family. It never fails to be great.
My family and I love this place. The food is always spectacular and the service is great. They've bent over backwards to accommodate large parties and wheelchairs for us. Very friendly and helpful.
Did take out...maybe that was the problem. For almost $100 we recieved tasteless, low portioned meals. The calamari was the worst. Was really looking forward to trying this place...won't be going back.
