We had a lovely experience at Tour de Tapas. I feel like this restaurant is what the village needed! The space felt clean and welcoming, the food was delicious and the wine incredible! We loved everything we got - the caprese salad was fresh and tasty and we loved the chocolate mousse dessert!! Everything was so reasonably priced and it did not compromise on flavor or quality. We can be a bit hard to please when going out to eat but this place did not disappoint. We’ll be back...
This new little place is nestled in the heart of La Mesa, and offers a delicious selection of food, wine and beer. The service was excellent, and the ambiance was nice and comfortable. It’s a small restaurant that is perfect for date night or to enjoy with friends (like we did). We ordered the calamari, patatas bravas, pulpo con chistorra, and I would order all 3 again. I enjoyed my company with an international Spanish flare. I found it funny and honorable my famous Bruschetta a Pomidoro was on their menu. I had to point that out to our server. Yes, the San Diego Reader made it famous when I had my restaurant in La Mesa. My creation is famous. Not me! I loved the Tapas of Calamari,Octopus Shrimp and bread service.
