Everyone here is extremely friendly and makes you feel like you are a regular. First time here and the food was amazing as well as the service being very warm and welcoming.

Best sushi on town, love every single item we ordered, the presentation is beautiful and the fresh. Highly recommended.

This is a hidden gem. The fish is fresh and the rolls are as good as any high end sushi restaurant. Welcoming staff and great prices.

I just want to preface with the fact that I don't like writing negative reviews, I honestly don't like writing reviews altogether, but I just had a very frustrating experience with this establishment. I placed an order for 2 rolls, 1 ramen, and a tempura mix at 6:07 P.M. through Doordash, with an ETA of 6:51. At around 6:54 I arrived at the restaurant, it was at about 15% capacity and there wasn't a hostess, which is understandable. I then stood for 5 minutes with absolutely nobody acknowledging me or asking if I needed help. Finally at 6:59, a gentlemen helped me and said it was going to be about 5 more minutes, annoying but I know sushi can be difficult when it comes to pick up. I waited in my car and returned at 6:04, still nothing and another gentlemen began to ask about my order. I said my name, and he returned saying it would be a bit longer. Finally at 7:11 P.M. I received my order, hangry and frustrated I drove home to an even hangrier GF. When I returned home, my order didn't have my ramen, I called and was informed that they didn't have the broth and I was refunded.I like small businesses and I hope for nothing but success for these dudes, but I won't be eating here again.

What a jewel in our very own neighborhood! We walked in for the very first time a couple of weeks ago not knowing what to expect. We soon learned that the sushi here is some of the finest anywhere (and believe me, we have been everywhere, man!) Finely crafted sushi that we were willing to wait for, because it takes a while to create such special rolls and nigiri. And for dessert, mochi! Oh, we cannot wait to go back! Special thanks to Mauricio, who made it a stellar experience for us.

Great quality fish and nice gentleman working. Service could have been a bit better but I do believe they were a bit short handed and a newer restaurant working out some kinks. I would visit again. Definitely a smaller more local kind of vibe but maybe not my pick for a date

Absolutely wonderful!!! Jordan welcomed us warmly and had the freshest fish ? - happy to explain source and types of fish. The La Mesa roll was delicious and unique! The setting is welcoming and there's no rush to finish. I'll be going back very soon!! A secret outstanding sushi spot tucked away in La Mesa!

Unbelievably high quality sushi. Jordan really knows fish and I almost exclusively go here for tuna collar, mackerel and the freshest bluefin tuna. Their Lake Murray roll is also amazing. You will NOT need soy sauce. Their flavor combos and delicate use of ponzu and yuzu will compliment each piece of super high quality fish.

Lake Murray roll was delicious & the Chef's sushi selection was excellent! The fish was super fresh & the hot tea was absolutely charming/delicious too! Jordan gave us special care and outstanding service! The salad was dark green - not the iceberg lettuce at other places. Great experience!

I don’t know where to start. Initially, I loved the environment. The whole set up of the place is nice. But for some reason the waiters seemed to be socializing. Correction they were flirting with all the female customers. While I was waiting to get any service. To make matters worse the waiters where drinking shots with the customers. We even got charged the wrong amount. The guy who collected our pay looked like he was already under the influence.

Top notch food, (try the monkey balls and the bomb roll!) top notch service and friendly staff i definitely highly recommend

This is a neighborhood sushi bar. I have tried maybe 5 or so in my neighborhood. For reference id say this is up there with some of the better ones. Service was fast, the prices were reasonable and a bit cheaper than competitors.

This place is awesome ! I love coming here to eat bomb sushi and drink a beer. I’ve ordered both dine in and to go and the service is always excellent. I think the prices are very fair for delicious fresh food.

This place was awesome. The food was legit and so good. I came in for my b-day with my girls. We had a blast and so much fun! Mauricio, the owner was fantastic and so accommodating. Everyone was great!.. Thank you so much for the best night and the saki bombs. The music inside was also pretty dope.?

Great food, good atmosphere but new and having growing pains. They are up and up and worthy of your attention. A rising star, to be sure.
