What a jewel in our very own neighborhood! We walked in for the very first time a couple of weeks ago not knowing what to expect. We soon learned that the sushi here is some of the finest anywhere (and believe me, we have been everywhere, man!) Finely crafted sushi that we were willing to wait for, because it takes a while to create such special rolls and nigiri. And for dessert, mochi! Oh, we cannot wait to go back! Special thanks to Mauricio, who made it a stellar experience...
Great quality fish and nice gentleman working. Service could have been a bit better but I do believe they were a bit short handed and a newer restaurant working out some kinks. I would visit again. Definitely a smaller more local kind of vibe but maybe not my pick for a date
Absolutely wonderful!!! Jordan welcomed us warmly and had the freshest fish ? - happy to explain source and types of fish. The La Mesa roll was delicious and unique! The setting is welcoming and there's no rush to finish. I'll be going back very soon!! A secret outstanding sushi spot tucked away in La Mesa!
