Nothing special. Food was basic, but the prices are great at least. However it took a ridiculous amount of time to just get 2 burritos. Which were extremely small as well. The service is way too slow and not worth the wait. I recommend going to any other business in the food court.

One of our favorites! Great food! The service is great and the environment is wonderful! All of the chefs and workers are very friendly and we have been going here for 26 years.

I ordered a Chilaquiles Combo Green/Verde with Over Medium Eggs, with rice and beans. I was given Scrambled egg over hard chips, with red Chile and no rice and beans. In addition, this order took an hour and it's minutes away. Horrible, incorrect with missing items.

Super friendly and hardworking staff! I like the taco Tuesday menu options the best. :)

This is a solid choice for a mall food court in my opinion. I've been here over the years and it's consistent service, I get exactly what I ordered and the guy behind the counter is always very pleasant. When I get lunch with my kid at the food court , he always gets food from the same place, I tend to rotate between this place and the Greek one whenever the Filipino restaurant is closed. I'll be honest and admit that I have never tried anything with beef here, so I can't comment on that, but the chicken and vegetarian options are solid. There's plenty of parking and it's air conditioned, much appreciated with the weather lately.

I ordered a combo and they told me I could only choose rice or beans but I could hot have both on my plate even though the menu says rice and beans come with the combo. This is the first Mexican joint that pulls a stingy move like that. All the other Mexican places the combos come with both beans and rice and not one or the other. So 1 star for being stingy.

y'all know that around 3 stars are some of the best hidden gems right? ah well to the naysayers...this place is legit and delish! we eat there every weekend and it never disappoints. their refried beans are handmade and to-die-for smooth and the fried fish for any of their fish dishes is fresh made-to-order. i don't know too many places do that unless it's Michelin starred ;). give this place a try, its a great food court with a/c and lots of seating. parking is easy too. we can't eat anywhere else - this place is one of our tops!

Not a fan of their burritos . Simply had no flavor especially in the Cabeza burrito, I bite into it and it was soggy like the sauce was just too much that the tortilla wasn't holding together everytime I tried to bite it, I was also disappointed with their surf and turf burrito that's at 14 something, my husband and I took one bite and that was it...waste of my money's. People simply just don't have any love in cooking and making them the right way.. Sorry but not so sorry .... The only enjoyment I got was the carne asada fries and that's that...will not be ordering again

I was pleasantly surprised that this was good whenever you order food from a place you've never been it's a little freighting .Luckily the california burrito I ordered through Uber eats showed up tasty nicely cooked and season carne asada even though it didn't come with guacamole like.most Cali's it was solid. Their red salsa was a good combo of spice and flavor. Good to know theirs good Mexican food inside grossmont center

Looks can be deceiving. Looks like every taco shop in San Diego. Most taco shops are basically good with some being better than others. This one however has little good about it.The cost: average cost for a taco shop so that's good for a food court. The food: Carne asada fries- cold, undercooked fries. The meat was actually really, really good though and the portion was huge.Service: the cook is overworked and took 15+ minutes for the order and it was undercooked. He seemed bothered answering questions of how much longer.

Tip: there's a buy one get one on a lot of items through Uber eats. Tacos are ok. They are on the tinier side. Guac comes with the carne asada tacos. I will also add that the red salsa is like water with no flavor. I would get the green salsa, it's better.

Absolutely delicious!! I got the California burrito and my wife got Carne Asada fries. Friendly service with a smile and the food was amazing. I'd give it 6 stars if could!

I prefer supporting a small local business over some chain, which is why I decided to try Villa's in the first place. I got the combination plate with a taco and enchilada, and both were very good. The portions were good and the flavor was also on point, so the meal was a very good value. The next time I'm at Grossmont Center, I know where I am going for food.
