I can't believe I actually decide to stay and eat here. They had the television going. They had rap music going with the boom boom. Boom didn't even know what it was.

First time to be here but didn’t get good experience. Just sat down but the waitress would like me to order immediately, I told her I need more time. About 1 minute,I was not ready yet, she came back to”ask me”order again. I did but I didn’t feel comfortable, it seems like if I don’t order in 1 minute I am not welcomed. I can understand you would like it being efficient, but I am here for my food not for your job. She works like a Robert without emotion and can’t tell what customers need.I have been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants, first uncomfortable service here.

A well-deserved 5-star Vietnamese pho restaurant!
The food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are very reasonable — that’s just the baseline here. What really sets this place apart is the outstanding service. Every staff member greets customers with a genuine smile, serves quickly, and treats guests with real care. Other restaurants should come here and learn what true hospitality means. While so many places only focus on tips, this team focuses on people — and that makes all the difference.

I’ve been to Pho many times—at least twenty visits—and always enjoyed their food. However, this time was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in any restaurant, and I’ve decided not to visit Pho again.
As usual, I ordered Dish #1. When the server brought it, I noticed a large, inedible strip in the bowl—something that had never happened before. That kind of strip is clearly food waste, not meant to be served. So I called the server over, expecting them to either replace the dish or at least remove the inedible part.
However, the server, probably thinking I was a new customer, insisted it was “normal” and went back to the front desk to get a pair of scissors—then told me to cut the strip myself! What an unbelievable suggestion. I was extremely hungry since it was my first meal of the day, so I tried to follow his advice just to prove the point. As expected, the scissors couldn’t even cut through it. That confirmed my suspicion: if scissors can’t cut it, human teeth definitely can’t chew it.
The server still didn’t seem convinced, so he took the strip and tried cutting it himself—only to find that it truly was impossible. Their next “solution” shocked me again: they offered to simply remove the inedible part and let me eat the rest of the noodles. What an incredible idea! Not to mention, I couldn’t possibly eat food that had just been touched with the same scissors they us at the front desk. Maybe they thought I was new and wouldn’t know better, but that’s completely unacceptable.
I firmly told them that I wanted at least a new bowl of noodles with all edible ingredients. This was a perfectly reasonable request—I wasn’t asking for anything extra, just a proper meal. Yet, the staff acted as if it were a huge inconvenience. They even had multiple servers come to “confirm” that I really wanted a new bowl. At that point, I almost decided to leave immediately, but I was too hungry and hadn’t eaten all day, so I stayed and finished the meal.
That dinner, however, became the first and only time I left a Pho restaurant without leaving a tip.
Based on this experience, I have two suggestions for Pho:
1. Review your food quality standards—at the very least, serve food that is actually edible.
2. Improve your customer service—Pho’s food and meat quality are usually excellent, but only when the customer can actually eat what’s served.

First time here, great customer service, but overpriced the pho was not delicious nor tasted authentic, spring rolls lacked flavor including the peanut sauce, and the egg rolls were overcooked. I’d recommend banh mi & che cali in alhambra for authentic vietnamese food including reasonable prices!

I have been coming here for years!!! When they had their small and large. It was my favorite pho place. Now for over a year or so they only have one size, I would nearly get so full towards the end. Came in today and prices have gone up about $10 total not only that but their bowl is a large with hardly any noodle and meat. It’s just broth, so sad.
I’ve been coming to Pho 45 for about a year now, and it’s easily the best pho I’ve had—hands down. The food quality is phenomenal, always fresh and flavorful, and the service is consistently excellent. Orders come out fast, and the staff makes you feel welcome every time. It’s truly a hidden gem and, in my opinion, the best spot in the area for pho. Definitely a must-try!
