I was surprised how crowded the place was at 3pm on a Saturday. The wait was about 20 minutes. For the price of $33, I was surprised to find out majority of their seafood ingredients are from frozen packages. They are tasteless, the seafood meat from the crabs and shrimps has no flavor and breaks apart easily. The gut of the shrimp was extremely dirty. It created a big mass when you tried to clean the gut on the meat that was falling apart and breaking down.

Shabuya is the largest all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu restaurant I know. It offers unlimited supplies of meat, vegetables, seafood, and various options of ingredients for shabu-shabu. After choosing the soup I want, I simply need to select the type of meat and request it from the server. However, during busy times, it's advisable to order in advance to avoid waiting for the server for too long, as it can be frustrating. They provide various vegetables, seafood, dumplings, tofu, noodles, and more, so I can take as much as I want and make my own sauce. Once I've chosen my soup and added various seafood and vegetables to enhance the flavor, I start my meal. Personally, I enjoy adding seafood to the broth for flavor and dipping it in hot sauce, then adding meat first and enjoying it with vegetables alternately.I recommend finishing about 90% of the meal and then enjoying the remaining 10% with udon, ramen, dumpling soup, or other desired choices. Among them, I highly recommend adding eggs and rice to make egg porridge, which is the best way to conclude the meal. The egg porridge, made by boiling the remaining vegetables and meat, always tastes exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant where you can enjoy making and eating delicious meals yourself.Parking: The parking lot size is large, but on weekends, it's not easy to find space, so you may need to park a bit further away.

The staff is rude, the manager yells at the customers, and the food they serve is not clean.

Not bad shabu shabu. You can enjoy various kinds of vegetables, along with some thinly sliced meat, noodle and seafood. Simply boil them in water and eat with some sauces. It seems impossible to replicate this experience at home for the same price.

This is usually our go-to shabu spot for it’s good service and decent pricing. However, I was disappointed tonight when I witnessed a server throwing up in the stall next to me and return to work looking very unwell. It took two complaints to our server and the host to have the server sent home. I—and i’m sure others would agree—would rather wait a little longer for my food than face potential food poisoning and watch a sick server struggle to work between bathroom trips. Will have to rethink before coming here again. I was very uncomfortable, especially being seated adjacent to the restrooms.

All kinds of raw goodies for you to cook in your soup. No deserts. Very clean. The meats were all sliced very thin, so they cook in less than a minute.

I love Shabuya! I usually go once a week and literally love the food. What concerns me about this restaurant is the service, some of the servers are very nice and others extremely rude. A couple days ago, I was there with my friends for lunch, there was literally no one there, just us, we stopped eating and paid the check, and we were just talking! One of the serves, came to our table and literally kicked us out! He said that he needed to clean the table, there was over 10 tables to be cleaned around us! No one was cleaning anything. The entire time we were there, they were just being rude with us. We spent money at this location every week, we are a group of 8 - 10 usually and it’s sad to say but we will start looking into other places that treat customers with more respect.
