This is one of our top choices for our family dinner out. They never disappoint us and are quite affordable, too.
The best peruvian food.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional Peruvian restaurant, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and vibrant, clearly designed to make every guest feel at home.
The staff was not only attentive but also genuinely kind and professional. It was clear that this establishment operates on a foundation of inclusivity, respect, and excellence. Every interaction I observed, including those involving guests at other tables, was handled with patience and poise.
I am aware that a recent review circulating online describes a supposed “altercation” at the restaurant. I happened to witness the event in question and feel it is necessary to address it candidly and fairly. The review in question does not reflect what actually occurred. The individual who wrote it has significantly distorted the facts and misrepresented the situation in a way that is simply not truthful. What I saw was a calm and respectful response from the staff to a guest who was, unfortunately, behaving in a confrontational and unreasonable manner.
It is deeply disappointing to see such a misleading narrative being spread about a place that truly embodies hospitality, dignity, and cultural pride. This restaurant deserves to be recognized for the positive experience it consistently offers its guests.
I highly recommend this gem to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Peruvian cuisine in a setting that celebrates diversity and treats every guest with kindness and care.
We came here with my family and food was alright not the best. Ceviche was a big NO! I like my lechuga and my camote original not the white version. Flavor was too watery. Anyways, on our way out we wanted to tip our server cash and she got offended and told us not to ask for her next time because she wasn't going to serve us. I've never had an experience like this before at a restaurant. This is very low for a Peruvian Restaurant. I go to many of them but this one really disappointed us and we won't be going back. The rude server was hispanic with hair colored blonde and the lady at the front. Both were being super rude.
Awesome food and service.
The size of the restaurant surprised me, the building used to be a family restaurant so the tables were nice and big along with the booths. Great place to bring family.I went in the afternoon around the typical lunchtime, and it wasn't too full but they did have customers. They do have a bar and area for live music in the evenings, they also have plenty of TVs for sports games. The food was delicious 😋 see pics. It started to get a little bit crowded as I was leaving.
I love this Peruvian restaurant a lot! I can cross Sol Inka off the bucket list since this is my first time coming here in La Mirada and recommend 10 out of 10. I enjoyed the chicken fried rice that came with the Peruvian style.
My son and I love the Lomo saltado!!!!

I highly believe they reheat their lomo saltado.
This place was extremely disappointing. Both my plates were DRY lack of flavor/juice, and the fries were HARD as if they were reheated. I ordered 2 of the same plates both the same. Horrible!!
And that's what I get for trying a new place. And they don't give you a roll of bread i guess you gotta ask for it. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

We went today 9/28/24 for lunch and the food was unpleasant, we ordered a fish ceviche which was salty and the lemon was bitter and I returned it, from there we ordered 2 lomo saltados which had the French fries, hard and salty on top. The rice Chicken chaufa with no horrible tasteless taste, I'm Peruvian and their food really isn't good, the dishes are around $20 which is normal and you pay to eat something worth it. The only thing delicious was their chicha but this cost us $88.00, I won't be coming back.

The food is very good, the service is not so good, they charge you the tip without asking. So if 6 people go, you end up paying for 8 or 9. It's an abuse.
