What's paper thin slices of not-so-fresh fish on a ton of rice? ZARAKU!!! Who charges $12.99 for a 3 year old? ZARAKU!!! Where are we never going for AYCES? ZARAKU!!! as in it totally sucked. Fish wasn't fresh. Portions were ridiculous. Prices were high. Go to Joe's Sushi up the street. Makes zaraku look like eating out of the dumpster.

We visited a tucked away great little sushi bar called Zaraku Sushi while in LA visiting our son and daughter last week as they had been raving about the Japanese fusion rolls for weeks prior to our arrival. Although we eat sushi regularly in the Seattle area, this was by far the best experience with LA style sushi. . They treated us to a fantastic meal, where the sushi chef (Hak Chan) made our experience one to remember. The daily catch for sashimi was perfect along with fire and lobster rolls. Appetizer of heart attack and dynamite were also mouth watering. This is a great place with a superb staff and excellent food at a low cost. We will be back again!
