The salmon tasted too fishy as if it was bad or something the beans tasted like a dog's rear end the rice was rice the plantains were burnt to the point were you could tast it the atmosphere was nice just loud and the customer service I can't complain on but all in all just eat at home I'm never coming here again

If you want to have a fun and pleasant time, this is the best, the decoration of the place transports you to Havana, the service is good, and the food is good.

My first time eating Ropa Vieja was in Havana Cuba last year in 2023. I fell in love with the dish. I’ve been trying to find a restaurant close to Downey and was exited to give this restaurant a try. I hate to say it was disgusting. The Ropa taste like it was cooked with McCormick taco seasoning. It tasted nothing like the dish I had in Cuba. The congri was mediocre and the fried plantains were great. I won’t be back.

We loved the food, the staff and the music…A hidden gem that you must try. The empeñadas, the salmon, the pork with onions and the homemade cake were exceptional.
Horrendous service. Came in for lunch on a Sunday and was one of two tables in the whole restaurant. Ordered drinks and an app and then never saw the server again except when he mistakenly brought over the other table's drinks to us. After failing over and over to get service to order our meal, we got tired of waiting and left.
The Chicken and plantain appetizer was extremely dry.
Also, it's summer but the restaurant was uncomfortably hot inside.

Great place for a birthday, chill, date or just because. The atmosphere and lice music is great. As always, Latin food and Latin atmosphere is the best among all other cultures.
