The main menus are delicious, but the side dishes are the best.

I went after 8pm, but there were no customers, so I was worried and ordered only kimchi stew. It was really refreshing and delicious along with the side dishes. I thought the other dishes would be delicious as well.I definitely have to go back and try other food.Highly recommended.

Do not sleep on this place!! The food is beyond amazing. James runs the place and is the best. I cannot believe this place isn't always packed. Our favorite place to eat when we visit Anaheim.

I heard that this place is like home cooking. The food is not bad but service and waiting time are the the downside.

Arrived about 90 minutes before closing. Ordered 4 dishes and still managed to leave in time.Food:All the banchan (side dishes) were so good. Not a single bad one. My favorite was perilla leaves, just because I love the flavor, but everything was good. Anchovies were also good- spicy beef soup - could have used more beef, but this was very tasty and brought back a lot of nostalgia. It was spicy but not too spicy.- spicy acorn noodle - also good- spicy stir-fried squid with udon noodles - a big serving. the udon was very slurpable. There was a lot of spice, but it wasn't too spicy. A good amount of squid. We ended up finishing everything.- to-go: noodles in chilled white bean soupThe prices were reasonable.Service:The man was friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly enough. They don't offer you extra water, so you have to ask.Ambiance:I loved how unassuming and family-feeling it was. They showed a Korean TV channel and played old English language songs. The focus is on the food. A place that Koreans frequent, so you know the food is good. The bathroom was clean, there were seat covers, the soap smelled good.Would definitely return.

One of the most authentic Korean restaurant I've been to in the U.S. The side dishes are so amazing and things that aren't usually served in other places (due to probably high costs or difficulty making) so I was already impressed. They are very hearty and delicious. We ordered braised mackerel with kimchi and it really hit the spot like my grandma made it. The flavor was deep and rich and everything you could ask for, salty, sweet, umami, spicy, tangy, deep. It's not too overpowering either. We got another round of rice because it was that good. Also items on the menu are priced right and pretty affordable to other Korean spots. We see a lot of older Korean moms, grandmas, and dads at this spot so it's really legit. I am coming back here to try everything else on the menu!

One of the most authentic Korean restaurants I've been to in the U.S. To start, the side dishes were super delicious and things that aren't usually served in other places. They are very hearty and delicious. I was already impressed and excited about the food! We ordered braised mackerel with kimchi and it really hit the spot like my grandma made it. The flavor was deep and rich and everything you could ask for, salty, sweet, umami, spicy, tangy, deep. It's not too overpowering either. My coworker and I did not say a single word while eating. We got another round of rice because it was that good. Also, items on the menu are priced right and pretty comparable to other Korean spots. It was hard to choose what to get because everything seemed amazing. The items offered here include what you can expect at other Korean spots, like kalbi and bulgogi. But they also have other dishes that seem more traditional, like braised or grilled fish, strong soybean stew, dried radish bibimbap... It's a bit difficult to even translate (but I just know it's gonna be legit). We see a lot of older Korean moms, grandmas, and dads at this spot so you know it's good. The owner seemed really passionate about the food too, and he was happy to see we enjoyed the meal. I am coming back here to try everything else on the menu!

I have to say unless you are Korean or come with a Korean you'll get service mi third time coming by my self and the never have tables available even the restaurant is empty or the employees prepping food on their tables. But when I was here with my friend "Korean" food was ok and they sell alcohol in a clear jar. Anyway don't come to this place there are a lot more better places.

Usually a place with so many different dishes on their menu only does a handful of them well, but this place is definitely an exception! Their stews, meat, bibimbap, and more are all wonderful. Personally love their octopus (nakji) bibimbap, soybean soup, beef soup, and kalbi soup. Service is fast and great, whether you eat there or get something to go. It's a quiet mom and pop shop, and they have pretty fair prices too. Also, they sell banchan (side dishes) to take home and omg they're so delicious...
