Went there for lunch. Chicken was hot, tender and crispy. It appears that this is more of an evening hangout, so not sure of the overall vibe of this place. Otherwise, an awesome kfc place.

Dropped by as it was highly recommended by a friend, and would say it didn't disappoint! It is a great spot to go if you have the late night munchies. The service is great! Everything came out pretty quick and came out hot. There is only two front staff and they did come check on a few times to see if we needed anything.I would say that if love spicy foods, the default for the Dukpokki and the hot sauce for the chicken isn't spicy. My friend, who has spicy foods once in awhile, said it was decently spicy. So if you do like super spicy it may need to be adjusted. The Dukpokki has a very nice chew to it and did well to pick up the sauce. The sauce on the Dukpokki had good flavor, it was a good balance of sweet and spicy for a late night snack. The fried chicken was also very delicious! The chicken came out very hot and it was super crispy. We got the chicken with the hot sauce, and it was alright as the sauce wasn't really to our liking. Would definitely try a different sauce or just stick the original as the original is always good. Would definitely come back again!

Koko's has always been my go to spot for Korean chicken. But I feel that Koko's has fallen to the unfortunate trend of starting out with amazing food and later the food quality falling down the drain. The original fried chicken is great as always. The sauce comes on the side. But the drop off comes with the sweet and sour sauced wings. The sauce is ok but the worst is the chicken batter is soggy. So the whole dish comes out as mediocre.Service is great though! The two servers were attentive and nice which is great. Wish the sweet and sour wasn't mediocre.

Title: "A Culinary Gem in Cerritos!"Review:My experience at Koko Chicken and BBQ in Cerritos, California was nothing short of delightful. The moment you step inside, you're welcomed by the warm ambiance and friendly staff who are eager to make your dining experience memorable. The menu is a captivating array of Korean BBQ and fried chicken dishes, each promising a unique taste of Korea. I opted for the BBQ sampler and was not disappointed. The meat was tender, flavorful, and grilled to perfection. Each bite was a taste sensation, transporting me to the bustling streets of Seoul. The fried chicken was equally impressive. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and adorned with a glaze that was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy. The side dishes, including the kimchi and pickled radishes, were fresh and provided a nice contrast to the savory meats. The portions are generous, ensuring a satisfying meal that is bound to please. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the high quality of food and the generous servings. The service was exemplary. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and had a genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine. It was evident that the entire staff takes pride in providing an authentic Korean dining experience.Koko Chicken and BBQ is a true culinary gem in Cerritos. It's the kind of place that instantly becomes your go-to spot for a comforting meal and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and exploring more of the delectable offerings on the menu.Whether you're a long-time lover of Korean cuisine or a first-timer, Koko Chicken and BBQ is sure to impress.Vegetarian options: A fewParking: Simple and enough every timeKid-friendliness: Yes kid friendly environmentWheelchair accessibility: Simple entrance

Tried the Dukbokki and Korean Corn Cheese here, both were sub-par. The Dukbokki tasted like the frozen pre-made type that you can easily purchase at your local H-Mart for a fraction of the price and the Korean Corn Cheese was super watery... I guess they didn't bother draining the canned corn before shoveling it onto the skillet.Overall very disappointed when it comes to the food, but the most annoying part is that they inflated the tip amount, which I caught and disputed through my credit card.Needless to say, I don't think I'll be coming back here. Unfortunate, since I'm a local resident and was looking for a decent local spot for Korean food and drinks.

I prefer to get the Chicken strips here. Crispy and delish and decent size. The dukkbokki is a must try as well. We like to add the ramen option. The slightly spicy sauce is great to dip your chicken in as well. The French fries are so light and crispy! You keep on eating it.Tried the fried pickles for the first time and they are light but caution it's an entire basket!
