I love the Bingsoo here, the portion for the price is great. The service is also great! The owner is very attentive.
A regular size is good for two people. There's plenty of tables, although they're shared with the other restaurant in the dining area. It's located inside the grocery store.

Their bingsoo and taiyakis are the best. The taiyaki here has a special taste and it’s very good. There are lots of flavors that sound nice but my favorites are nutella, custard, and cheese bomb. The bingsoos are really tasty too. Their shaved ice is sweet by itself so any flavor u choose will be good. The place is located inside the supermarket and the workers are soso nice and skilled. I 100% recommend this place if you like sweet desserts and want to try some korean food!!!

the lady running the place is so sweet, so i got pretty hyped for the black sesame bingsoo... it didn't hit. the sesame powder was like raw sugar with a grey tint, very gritty and sweet than rich-nutty black sesame, so it felt like i was munching on sweet sand. the injeolmi was stale, but the shaved milk was lovely—smooth, milky, not too sweet, so maybe just get another bingsoo flavour..

If you’re looking for the best Boonguh Bbang (Korean fish-shaped pastry, similar to Taiyaki) in the U.S., look no further than BingSoo House in La Palma! Tucked inside the Super 1 Mart food court, this hidden gem consistently delivers fresh, made-to-order Boonguh Bbang that is perfectly crispy on the outside and generously filled on the inside.
I ordered the Black Sesame and Red Bean & Cream Cheese—both were absolutely delicious and rich in flavor. You can really taste the quality and care they put into every pastry. Honestly, I had Boonguh Bbang from Sul & Beans in Rowland Heights last month, and it wasn’t even close in comparison—BingSoo House blows it out of the water.
I used to come here every other week when I lived in the OC. The easy parking, great grocery shopping, and affordable prices make it a fantastic spot to stop by for dessert or a quick treat after errands.
Whether you’re a fan of Korean desserts or trying Boonguh Bbang for the first time, you won’t be disappointed!

First time coming here. Binsoo House is in the front left side, inside the Super 1 grocery store, next to another food outlet in a small food court area. We got 2 mango Bingsoo as a refreshing snack after going to a park nearby. I mistakenly said I wanted it for here instead of to go, because I wanted to eat it immediately but outside because I had my dog with me, so the owner put it in nice bowls but I asked permission to eat it outside and I would bring the ceramic bowls back and she said that was ok. There aren't any tables and chairs outside so we ate it in the car and brought the tray and bowls back to the food court when we were done. I ate it so fast that I didn't get a picture! It looks just like her picture on the menu anyway! Bingsoo is my new favorite dessert and you should give this place a try because it was so yummy! Plus, you can grocery shop afterwards so bonus!

The Mango Bingsoo was alright. The snow didn't hold up very well & became slushy fairly quickly. The mango slices were nice and thin, but I think they are kept in a liquid because they were glossy.
We also got 2 Taiyakis, which is the minimum requirement to purchase. The texture is different from what we're used to. The fillings were good, though!
Bingsoo House is located inside the Super 1 Mart towards the left side of the store as you walk in.

This is such an underrated, hidden gem! The Taiyaki is freshly made and super crunchy. The Cheese Bomb Taiyaki is my favorite and stretches with cheese perfectly as you tear it out. I also recommend the Strawberry Bingsoo. The freshly cut strawberry drizzled with their strawberry sauce is so refreshing. They use milky ice rather than the regular shaved ice texture.
Summary:
- CLEANLINESS. Clean and organized. However, you share tables with other restaurants.
- COSTS. Very affordable compared to other dessert places.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE. Excellent and friendly. The owner is so friendly and will recognize your face if you become a regular.
- PORTION SIZE. The Bingsoo portion could feed 2 people.
- WAIT TIME. Since they cook it fresh rather than in bulk, it could take 10-15 minutes.
