I went today as this places seemed recommended and the reviews are really good. Went about 8:30 am the lights were still off. I went in the bell ringed and nobody was there. I went further inside and the man was in the back. I briefly made eye contact with him and he still didn’t come, seems to me they need to fix there hours of being on open they weren’t ready for business.

Camino Real is a small, family-owned Mexican restaurant that serves authentic, delicious food. The carne asada fries are absolutely mouthwatering, and the tacos are always fresh and flavorful. The service is fast, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It’s a great spot for a casual meal, and the prices are very reasonable. A true hidden gem in the LA

Try the Menudo. I think only your grandma can top it. The Carne asada tacos , taste like real ranchero carne asada tacos. The menudo comes with homemade corn tortillas.

I recently dined at Camino Real, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The service was mediocre at best; nothing stood out as particularly good or bad. However, the food was simply terrible. The chilaquiles were bland and unappetizing, with the salsa verde being sour and lacking any real flavor. The rice was hard and dry, making it quite unpleasant to eat. The huevos rancheros were particularly disappointing, as they did not resemble the authentic dish I was expecting and tasted awful. To make matters worse, the restaurant played old Spanish music that was melancholic and added to the dismal atmosphere. Overall, I would not recommend Camino Real. This was my first and last visit.

Got taquitos for lunch and a plate of carne asada. Taquitos were packed with meat and the rice and beans tasted authentic. The asada plate was also very delicious but a tad bit salty. Great service! Will definitely return.

Very bad customer service here I walk in and their is no customers. I brought my mother she is 67 years old. She was asking the owner(lady) a question, apparently the owner had other things to do. She didnt have patients to answer our questions. As a business owner you should not be rushing the client's to order or rush them to not ask any questions. I recommend going to Caramelo Cafe which is one block away. They are super friendly, food is always good and great customer service.
