I’ve been dining at Cortez Brothers Restaurant for over 25 years, and I’m so glad to see that even with the new owners, the quality and authenticity of their food have stayed the same. Their tortas are second to none—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made every time. The restaurant has a true family-owned atmosphere, with friendly staff who treat you like part of the family. It’s rare to find a place that stays consistent for decades, and Cortez Brothers is one of those gems. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially locals, looking for authentic, home-style food with great customer service.

I love the food here, the staff is very friendly, the prices are good, the portions are just right, and you can pay with zelle, what's not to like?? I've eaten here 5 times since the first time I came to them out

It was my first time going there. I noticed the name change from El. Cortez two ,Rincon I never stop by or gone inside, but this time it looked authentic and usually small family owned. Restaurants are very good, my overview of the food. Was that the service and atmosphere. We're very good. I had the beef stew. It was okay. They served. Fideo, For a starter, that was excellent. Also, the Cafe de. LA olla was very good. I will definitely be coming back to try the menudo. Look for my review in the future..

It's the best Mexican restaurant in the area!
We just went this Sunday and as soon as we entered we loved it, the decoration was very nice, the waitress was super friendly and above all the food was delicious!
I will definitely be back very soon ??

I ordered a plate of a chile Relleno and a taco. It's the worst chili I've ever seen because I couldn't eat it because the cheese was so hard. I'm not coming back here.

I decided to take a chance on this place, it was nice n clean hole in wall restaurant. We were the only ones there and we waited for three caldos de res. When we finally got our bowls immediately look wrong Vegetables weren’t cooked and the meat was hard like a rock. It was more like a chunk of carne asada. Last was super nice, we did not stay to eat. It just was terrible to serve a caldo like this.

This is the hidden gem of los angeles. I looooooove this spot! The best food is here. My girlfriend and I randomly found this place and it's now our new favorite.
