Great food. We've gone back a few times already to try the different types of ceviche. We were once able to get a large group in last minute on a holiday weekend and the staff was super friendly the whole time. The menu seems to get smaller every time we come back, though. My nice love the pirate theme.Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair and were willing to rearrange the tables for my group of 20+ to sit together. I don't recall if there was a kid's menu, though, since the kids ate the same food as the rest of us.

If you like ceviche and/or seafood, please do yourself a favor and try this place out. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the seafood and will definitely be returning to try more items. I absolutely loved that there was a variety of ceviches. All with different flavor profiles to offer. Our server was so bubbly and helpful. She steered us in the right direction of what to order based on the preferences we shared with her. Everything was delicious and tasted so fresh. If you're looking for cold beer on tap, good seafood, and good service, give this place a try!

Stopped by for the first time. Very nice and clean indoors and it has an A rating. I tried the camarones sudados, which were tasty. Came on a bed of white rice and veggies (cucumber & carrot topping) Also tried the tostado which is a delicious tasting shrimp ceviche with a red sauce (guajillo chile). Good flavor and fresh tasting. Lastly we tried the agaus chiles which is also delicious. These are clean, raw however have the tail on them. For me not a big deal since I eat the entire shrimp head , tail and all at other restaurants. Definitely worth a try! Micheladas were fire in my opinion. Didn't have too much of the tomato/sodium salt flavor. Has more of a beer flavor and I didn't feel overly bloated after having 2 of these babies lol Enjoy y'all!!

This place does not get the recognition that it deserves. I came here with my family and I was a little thrown off by how empty it was. The food definitely did not disappoint. We were a party of 6 and we all finished our food which is rare. We ordered the Mojarra plate, Nevegantes, caldo de pescado, alta mar, and a molcajete. All the dishes were so good and full of flavor. The service was great. The waiter did not disappoint with his recommendations. The food looked just as good as it tasted. I really wish I would have taken a picture of all the food. Next time I will because I will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I showed up early on a Sunday, and we were the first ones there. We ordered two tacos and one shrimp cocktail. The waiter informed us that they were out of octopus for the tacos, which wasn't all that bad. He took our drink orders, bright some stale chips (salsa is decent) and we waited for our food. And waited. And waited. A few more couples showed up and he took their orders and drink orders and brought them what I assume were the same stale chips. We waited some more. At this point it was about 25 minutes since we put in our order. We saw to go orders get put together and picked up. We finally gave up and asked for our order to go, which they had only JUST started to put together when I walked up to the counter to ask for it to go and the check. At this point it had been almost 40 minutes. Regarding the ambiance, we could also see at least 8 huge spiders and spider webs hanging under the overhang right outside our window. The interior is a slapped together mix of diner and pirates of the Caribbean décor. We're never coming back to this place if they can't even manage tacos and a shrimp cocktail in a timely manner. The tacos were over seasoned, greasy and they didn't even give us any crackers for the cocktail

Never has Yelp been more wrong about a place. Friday night and were the only customers there. Place looks like it haven't been renovated since the 70s. More than 2/3rd of the menu on here was removed in person the fish tank at the front is extremely dirty ambiance gave off dump vibes the free salsa tastes like it came out of a tostinos salsa jar you get at the store server took over 10 minutes to get drinks walked out. Yelp you're super wrong about this place and makes me think how legit are the rest of the reviews or did this place pay of a bunch of fake reviews to bump their numbers? Anyway don't waste your time.

if I could give no stars I would I couldn't even eat in peace the chef or whoever was just screaming at the poor service girls when they were working their butts off

The service of this restaurant is piss poor. The ambience was awesome because an entertainer who imitates Jenni Rivera was there tonight. They took forever to get our drink order and never came back to take our order. How does a restaurant function like that? With only one waiter and the waiter goes for the larger parties and brings them buckets full of beer. It began as a fun night, ended with us never wanting to even be near this restaurant. I have to give it a star for the review, but it does not even a sticker star for participation!

First let me say its a rather nice place.. surprised that there were so few customers.. only one other table, with a party of 4,, service was really good,, very pleasant and attentive. .food I got the oysters half dozen, not on the menu, don't get the oysters... I also got an order of crab legs, also not on the menu... The legs were tiny, but very tasty.. the seasoning was really good... I also ordered. Mussels again sauce and seasoning was remarkable... My wife ordered a shrimp dish... She liked it I thought the sauce was ok.. the rice was really good. Seafood could have been fresher.. shrimp was the only thing that was really fresh.. but they covered it up well... All in all.. it was a pleasant meal.. no real let downs... We got there about 6pm, only the one other table, was serve while we were there... If they don't get more customers.. this place doesn't stand a chance

Came here due to the good reviews, We got two fried fish with rice and veggies And crab legs. The crabs legs are good they do add some type of sauce all over it which was good. The fried fish wasn't to crispy but it was okay. The workers here are super nice. The inside of the place is a little beat up could use updating.

Great food, great taste, great presentation! Friendly staff and nice decoration! We definitely enjoyed our food and the experience. The only thing that could have been better was that our food was served a little less hot than I expect.

Please support this business!! The owner works really hard but I know covid and supply chain issues have caused her to not have a lot of items available. We did notice a difference in flavor the last time we went (it had been a while) but the owner is super nice and she was understaffed. The space itself has tons of potential but it's on a weird corner in a strange and empty plaza. She really does deserve to have a successful business and it makes us sad that it's pretty empty a lot of the time. She works really hard. It's very big and can host events and large parties so I hope it happens for her soon.

I needed something for lunch and this place came up. Fairly unassuming place and it was completely empty for lunch, but what a gem it is ! I had a sea bass for lunch and it was amazing. With a mushroom and sauce bath, it was all delicious. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed.
