I’ve been coming here all my life. I have traveled a lot and nowhere I mean NOWHERE makes better sweet bread than here.
My favorite are the concha’s. They are super soft and delicious.
And anytime I make my way down from San Diego I make sure this is a MUST on places I visit.
They are the best, I use stop in on my way to work however in my new job, I start at 8am, They open at 730am I'm on the rd by 720am. The empanadas are best I have ever had. There for I have to go to one that opens earlier. Softest bread, stays soft after 2 days. I have never had that with any bakery even in other Latin countries.
The guy there is kind of quiet, doesn't really acknowledge customers unless you talk him first, but love the pan dulce. It's not dry or hard or crumbly like other places. This bread is soft and has good flavor.
