My family has loved this restaurant for generations. My great great grandma used to take us to eat here. Sadly, the food is barely decent and the only thing that makes up for it is the atmosphere. A while back I brought my boyfriend here to try it (since my family always loved it). It was okay, I had a torta and he had some enchiladas but it was nothing special. Our waters were hardly refilled and on top of that when he went to pay the woman who had been our waitress/lady at the register told him that he was handsome and should take her daughter on a date. We were there as a couple, it was blatantly clear but she still gestured to her daughter working in the kitchen for him to talk to her. It was a disheartening experience especially because this was once a place I talked up for their service and knowing my family. Would never go again.
Long time spot in La Puente.
Me and my wife grew up in the neighborhood eating here. We were celebrating our 35fth anniversary and wanted to relive our spot when we were boyfriend and girlfriend. It's been 28 years since we ate here so we had the La Indiana burrito since that's our favorite plate. Just like back in the day it is still good, we are going to do there nacho plate I'm sure that is still good.
The food is spectacular, the cooking and atmosphere is a taste of home. I honestly believe this is the best Mexican food in the area. 11/10
We have been coming to La Indiana's for over 35 years and have never been disappointed. Our secret restaurant doing special occasions 😉

They have the best salsa. I was craving a bean burrito but really wanted some delicious Chile, so it had to be La Indiana.
