I ordered bacon wrapped shrimp and quickly realized it was lent Friday. I let the waitress know literally a minute after I ordered, that I wanted to change it to something else, and she refused saying the cook had already started making the food. NEVER in my life have I heard of a restaurant refuse to change an order especially for religious reasons. I had to order something else on top of the original order. I thought maybe she wouldnt charge for the bacon shrimp, but sure enough we had to pay for it, when I couldnt even eat it. Food was good, but due to lack of good customer service I won't be coming back.

Food is great, live music is great.
The only down part to this location versus their other location on Rosemead Blvd is their customer service.
The waitress are very rude, 15 minutes wait time for drinks , 30 min wait to order food, NOT ONCE we were asked to get a refill on our drinks, not once they did ask if us if everything was good or needed anything.
And this is happen on a Saturday night which is busy but this Saturday night was not that busy.

The flavors were spot on with Ensenada style flavors. I must say the michelada was a bit off, I wanted more ice and a bit of a better salsa negra inside. Also, the San Ysidro tower was delicious. The mix of caracol Del Mar was unexpected and delicious. The cóctel was pretty good, could’ve been a bit more balanced in flavor but gave this place four stars because of the tower! Lastly also the service was spot on, the señorita was really accommodating! The salsas could’ve been spiced but we enjoyed the chips they were freshly made. On the pricey side.

Live music is wonderful, but the restaurant really needs better acoustics. It sounds too loud to actually enjoy.

Excellent good atmosphere to enjoy with the family I recommend it
I was at the bar and the girl who was serving me was very busy and was asking the second waitress for help. She completely ignored me. She treated me in an unprofessional manner. I just wanted to eat and have a good evening. But the attitude of this waitress and when I walked out the door she looked at me in a despicable way. I will never return to this place.

Food is horrible I don’t know how they allow people to be drinking so much at other restaurants there is a limit and that’s what they should have here
Good food and great service! I recommend the shrimp enchiladas. You can never go wrong with the beer on tap.
