Sometimes between shifts I don't have much time to get my early dinner. Moderns is the perfect place to go. The Hawaiian sandwich became my favorite right away, although the chicken one was taaasty! The mocha? Perfection. Chocolaty but not too sweet. Same for their fruity aguas frescas. They happen to be the new owners and they are super sweet!

Me and my wife were on a trip to LA during Thanksgiving week and were looking for a breakfast place. We ended up here and enjoyed the Sandwich and Juice. Service was amazing and the person preparing over order was super welcoming.

It is not really a Modern Coffee Place. As matter of fact they don't have but plain coffee and very expensive for the tasteless items here.
Good food, it's just that the people who serve and prepare food have personal and very uncomfortable conversations with friends when we see customers eating as a family.That's very bad.I hope they respect a little more.
