The best pizza I habe ever had glad I grew up in La Puente. I have overnightes pizza to friends and family in other states from here. Pizza in NY cant touch scardinos and comparing any other pizza to scardinos pizza is extreamly unfair to the other pizza as its in a class of its own. When I was a kid I remember one of the older italian owners at a grocery store complaining to tge manager that the freshness and quality of one of the I'm ingredients was not fresh or quality enough. I dont recall exactly. But I knew when I grew up to own a business I would be that crazy about quality. This is a family own and ran business and I cant express what this place and the food means to our community. We are so very lucky to have them! You have never lived until you have had scardinos pizza or tried one of everything on the menu and I mean this from the bottom of my soul. -SGV

Ownership has changed !! What a shame, not the same. I’ve been coming here since the 80’s came back today, it’s just not the same. Sandwiches were smaller will less meat and meatballs that were just dumped in tomato sauce , and not an Italian in sight they were always here I thought it was wierd that the owners weren’t there I had never been there and not seen at least on of them. Sorry to see an end of an era.
Rest in peace Leo Scardino and his great masterpiece! Thank you and your family for decades of excellent food! Food is now ok, but not the excellent quality we were used to for decades.
Moved away 20+ years ago and would come by when I would visit for my favorite Scardino treats. It was great … honestly I am a bit sad but all things must come to an end. Leo died years ago, and I believe his nephew continued the business I think he may have retired and sold the business.
Leo’s picture and memorabilia is still on the walls which was cool to see.

Used to be the best pizza around after call vet. kind of went down a little bit. You can tell they change ingredients that I give it a try again. Big mistake the worst pizza. You can get now and very expensive for what they give you. Ownership. Must have switch hands it's not the same save your money look around for something else.Trust me

Order my food when it came time to pay the gentleman said tap is right there and walked away and sat down to talk to the other workers. Didnt even give me a receipt or a thank you. I have been coming here for 30 years never been treated like that. It's sad
