I've lived in La Puente for 33 of my 35 years of life, and TODAY was the first time I experienced TJ's Submarine. I'm not exaggerating when I say the subs are so FREAKEN delicious that this is now my new favorite sandwich shop. I just finished my food and started writing this review, and I already want to go back! We ordered takeout - I had the Nena on a French roll, my honey had the Turkey and Avocado, and since it was our first time here, I ordered a small teriyaki chicken bowl on the side just to try it. I'm so glad I took a photo of my sandwich before taking a bite, otherwise there wouldn't have been a photo to share! I can't recommend this place enough. Please go try it for yourself and then share your experience to help spread the word about this amazing neighborhood restaurant!

I recently ordered two 3-inch sandwich trays, and I must say, the assortment of meats included in the sandwiches was a resounding success at the gathering. The sandwiches were truly delicious, and the size was absolutely perfect. I will definately be ordering from here again. Thank you, TJ Submarines.

Dude, this sandwich shop is amazing. My father introduced me to this place, he used to work across the street when he was about my age. The awesome lady used to run my dad his favorite cheese steak sandwich, I got the meatball sub, and my stepmom got the pastrami, and we split a fry. The service is top notch, food is peak for a small business. If I could I would give 6 stars but alas google is my enemy :D

Good subs, tasty bread & meat. Always fresh and good value for money. Love supporting a Christian operation too. My coworkers and I stop in here 1-2 times a week for lunch. Always a crowd pleaser. Relaxing atmosphere if you choose to dine in. My go to is an Italian + ham with extra peppers. I'm Italian from Philly; what do you want from me? 🤌🤌

First, I want to say how easy it was to make a huge order to feed a football team. The owner was very nice and helpful on how to feed 60 boys and let me know what would be a better deal. Each sandwich was cut and individually wrapped to make it so much easier to serve. Thank you so much TJ subs, for being incredible and for your yummy sandwiches! Came to visit family in LP all the way from Utah, and my wife was craving a French Dip.TJs was one of the only places that offered them in the SGV, so we decided to try it. We were definitely not disappointed, and let's just say that every time we're back in LP, we'll be stopping here for some French Dips.The food was fresh and prepared on the spot, and the lady working the counter who I assumed was the owner, was very nice. The bread had just the right amount of crunch. The meat and au jus were delicious as well. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quality and affordable lunch.

I have been coming to this restaurant for at least 12 years. In one simple conversation they have lost a customer.The day started when we ordered 2 sandwiches and asked for no mayo and mustard but oil and vinegar. We got the sandwiches and to our surprise there was only meat cheese and bacon. No toppings like onions. We were extremely disappointed so we called the store and the daughter said that that is what we said we wanted and we can take the sandwiches back. We said no and we were just disappointed since we have been going there for years and left it like that.This is the part that caused them to loose a loyal customer. The owner called back and told us it is not their fault because that is what we ordered. We calmly told her that is not what was ordered. It kept going back and forth with the owner raising her voice to us.This is sad that all they had to say was I am sorry there was a mixup. Don’t tell the customer it’s not their fault. That is the moment we decided never again.
