The food isn’t good. The tables were clean and the prices were fair. Plenty of parking.

By far, the BEST tacos in Los Angeles County. Tasty and packed full of ingredients for an impossibly low price, if you're only going to visit one area taqueria, visit THIS ONE. The asada is always good. The carnitas are hit and miss, so ask to take a look at the meat before ordering, unless you just absolutely HAVE to have carnitas regardless of quality. Sometimes the carnitas can be greasy or fatty, but when it's good, it is very good. The sauce is nothing special, just off the shelf red and green sauce from some restaurant supply store. What makes the tacos so good is the quality and quantity, and the low prices.
Basically tacos and burritos come in two levels: regular and deluxe. Regular tacos come with meat, onions, cilantro, choice of red or green sauce, with plenty of Mexican cheese on two tortillas. They're "street tacos," but are bigger and better than the other street tacos out there. Burritos have basically the same ingredients wrapped in a large tortilla. Combo burritos add beans. A lot of people order the quesadillas, but I don't think they're anything special. If you do order them, order them with meat for just a tiny uplift in price for a much better quesadilla. Try the sopas. They're excellent. Deluxe adds guacamole and sour cream for more money, but I think they aren't the bargain the regular food is. Be careful when ordering. If you order, whether you speak Spanish or English, be careful when asking for "with everything, " or "con todo," because an unscrupulous taco-preparer will take that not as a license to put on the requisite onions, cilantro, sauce, & cheese, but to add the overpriced guacamole and sour cream. It seems the same staff, same cashier, same cooks, etc. have been working at this place for DECADES. At least they're the same one's I'm familiar with from the past 25 years of eating here. Usually there's a staff of at least 3 people working here, but sometimes there are as many as nine or ten employees crammed into this tiny taco hut.
This place is very popular and typically very busy with people lined up. The line generally moves pretty quickly, but in the worst of circumstances, it's taken me 45 minutes from the time I arrive to the time I get my food.
Also, check and make sure the amount you're charged matches what you've ordered, because I've caught them adding extra to my bill.
There are some tables and benches ringing the exterior of the restaurant, but there's only around half a dozen and they're usually occupied if it is anytime near meal time.
This restaurant is located in a small outdoor strip mall, and parking has never been much of an issue, even at the busiest timesd.
Vegetarian options: They have been and cheese burritos, french fries, and can put a salad together, sorta.
Parking: There's generally parking very close to the restaurant, but the lot is pretty large and I've never seen it fill up all the way.

Fantastic dinner experience 7/18 Thursday evening. Enjoyed their soft taco carne asada steak , beef tongue, and beef scalp. The most authentic SoCal Mexican food experience ever. I’ve been a loyal customer for the past 30 years. The chef kitchen crew have been the same great group of men I’ve seen 30 years ago. Taco del Rio is my favorite Mexican restaurant in California
Dietary restrictions: Beef steak carne asada Soft tacos with cheese and guacamole are out of this world.

It's delicious but has some fat
I've been coming here since the burritos were $5. They were delicious then, and they're delicious now. They don't skimp on the fillings and the guys are super friendly. I usually go for a chicken burrito but they also have other things. The asada fries from this place are the best I've ever had. Admittedly I haven't tried many but that doesn't change that they're delicious and big enough to share. I love this place.
They have sit down room but it's all outside so I prefer to bring my food home.
