This place needs to go, they been sawing on the same hunk of meat for weeks out on the corner of a busy street with a bus stop in front, how could anyone spend a dollar on junk like this for any reason.

They have a new cook. She cooks very good. I usually get breakfast there. I get the vegetable omelet--so good! The rice could be better. But everything else is good.

Just went yesterday for a carne Asada burrito. But ended up with carne molida i could've done that at home. Parece que me dieron comida de perro. And i got extra Asada they charge $3 which i was fine with until i got home and realized it was carne molida.

Tacos Mi Raza is a small place with a large menu they're located inside "Big Saver" Service was friendly, food seems to be prepared off a flat top grill, from the looks of my tacos I can only assume the meats are precooked and held, then tossed on the flat top to re-heat, a bit overcooked and dry. They have a nice-looking menu but based off these tacos I don't think I'd return, Mi Raza, you let me down! Quesataco de Carne Asada - This was presented to me in a small Styrofoam container exactly as you see it I'm 100% Flavor over Visual but come on Amigo a little effort here. My next thought was am I at Jack in the Box? What's up with the lettuce and tomatoes? Mi Raza this is not looking good. Another surprise was to see a flour tortilla when I was not given an option, the quesataco lacked cheese, while the carne asada actually had good flavor, it was a bit on the dry and hard side. 1-Star Tacos Al Pastor No Trompo here, cooked on a flat top and not well marinated, I would NOT consider this Al Pastor but it did have passable flavor. 3-Stars Carnitas Flavor was good but this was about one step from being pork jerky. 2-Stars The ONLY positive note was the Salsa Roja was very good and saved these tacos from the trash can!

Just moved in to the neighborhood. Went shopping at the local super market "Big Saver" What a great place to shop at. Tacos Mi Raza is right at the entrance to the left handside. Got the breakfast burrito, huevos ranchero and two aguas freascas. Fresh food healthy prepared. The beans and rice were perfectly flavored and served hot. The breakfast burrito was probably one of the meattiest we have ever hand. Also there food is prepared with health conscience in mind. Every ingredient perfectly balance. Great staff genuinely. Authentic Homemade Mexican food with authentic caring customer service. Distance from has a big menu but you can't go wrong with any of the food you choose and it's made delivery upon delivery. The Caldos, burritos, and Tacos are my favorite. I enjoy mostly the fish tacos, pozole, and anything with carnitas. Only thing I'm disappointed in is al pastor meat but it's not because it's bad it's just because of my palette. Overall don't let the fact that this restaurant is inside a supermarket deter you

Every time I shop at Food saver, I see this little eatery out of the corner of my eyes, but never thought once about eating here. So the other day I see this place on Yelp, and thought it looked interesting. So today we're giving it a try. Whenever I go to a new Mexican restaurant, I always order the Huevos rancheros, because I have my favorite restaurant for this dish, and I can use this particular dish to compare how good.....or how bad the new restaurant is. It give me an ideal on what to expect from the cook, and just the restaurant in general. Our huevos rancheros, looked pretty good, and better yet, tasted pretty good. The meal was a little on the small size, so if they could just add a little more rice and beans, or maybe a little salad, the plate would look a lot more bigger, and make you feel better in that your getting your money's worth. Besides the great taste, what took this dish to the next level, was the homemade corn tortillas, they were awesome. Thicker than store bought tortillas, great crispy to chewy ratio, this made this meal taste like a really good home cooked meal, made by someone who knows how to cook. I first thought that this place is was just a small little taco stand, but when you really take a good look, it's actually has a decent size kitchen. Front counter with almost a dozen stools to sit at, and a small dinning area in the corner with three tables. Fairly large menu, with a good amount of dishes to choose from. The Owner / cook was really nice and friendly, very attentive and helpful. I can't wait to come back and try other items on their menu. 4 stars for this hidden gem.
