We ordered chicken fajitas and steak tacos to split. They brought us chicken fajitas and chicken tacos. When we sent the chicken tacos back, they brought steak tacos that were completely raw and full of fat. The chips and salsa were the worst we've ever had. Chips tasted like cardboard, and this salsa was not very flavorful.  we live in Orange County, and there are a lot of very nice Mexican restaurants that have much better food. This place was fancy, but way overpriced for the value received.

We always love stopping at The Adobe Grill. It has an energetic vibe, and the service is always quick and friendly. Be sure to order the cauliflower and Brussels sprouts – they are amazing. My street tacos were delicious, and my husband's chicken fajitas were excellent. And the margaritas? They're the size of a jacuzzi, so come thirsty!

Really good food and great service. Margarita is always a hit! It was extremely loud and hard to hear each other at our table. Since the outside was closed due to rain, I will attribute some of the noise to that. Will go back!

We decided to have a date night as a couple for my partner's birthday. The food came out incredibly fast - before the drinks arrived. The restaurant did not take note of the reservation notes for "40th birthday for NAME" in OpenTable. We ate, got a night away from baby, but left disappointed. This was not the first time we dined at Adobe Grill.

It's been many years since we've been to Adobe Grill and it was a successful revisit! We stopped going because the food had gone downhill and inside was depressing (note inside is still not working for me) but the patio is THE spot to be with amazing ambiance, live music, outdoor bar, heaters and fire pits and meandering dining terraces surrounded by mature trees and pretty planter beds. Service was stellar, the food outstanding, although the chips (while good) came cold. We will be back.

The combination plate with 3 items(chicken enchilada, stuffed poblano, and pork tamale) shared a common sauce which made them similar in taste. The fresh hamachi tasted a little too fishy. Not the best I've had. Did like our margaritas and the entertainment. Our waiter Edgardo A. was excellent

I have eaten at Adobe Grill many times. The area that once was a bar patio is now all dining tables. It does not appear that there is enough wait staff to provide service to all of the tables. We waited 45 minutes to receive anything other than water. When we received our "made table side" guacamole, it was brown and appeared to have come from another table. When we complained we received another bowl...30 minutes later. I was very disappointed with the meal, which ended up taking almost 2.5 hours...

Really nice outdoor dining. Great, attentive service. The food was good. My only complaint is that they added a historical preservation charge to the bill. What does historical preservation have to do with my meal. So tired of California restaurants adding extra costs like this one and the health care insurance fee Tropical charged. Customers already pay the majority of server's wages. Adding these fees is ridiculous.

2 of us had fajitas! Wonderful! The others had carnitas. Also, very good. We should have had margaritas instead of dirty martinis (as they had an accidental taste of margaritas) as they weren't our normal tasting martinis. All in all, a wonderful experience! We will always come back!
