Originally we came for ice cream but when we noticed their turkey sandwich, so we got one to share. It exceeded our expectations. It was toasted and had all the fixings like tomato, lettuce, melted mozzarella cheese, bacon, chipotle Aioli on a sourdough bread. WE DEVOURED IT SO FAST, I'm sorry there isn't a picture to prove it. We also got a banana split and churros locos. A lot, I know but we shared and it was delicious.

This place is a hidden gem! Food is absolutely delicious and fresh. We ate here several times during our stay in La Quinta. Highly recommend the açaí and avocado toast. We will be back!

This is our favorite lunch spot! Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious and so are the tortas and Mexican hot dogs. We bring all of our guests here when they visit. It NEVER disappoints and I especially love the chicken sandwich on sourdough. So good! Staff are friendly and nice - they are the best!

Delicious freshly made sandwiches and extremely reasonable prices for La Quinta. I can’t wait to come back to try the different tortas.Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwich perhaps more

We tried Arroyo's today and the food was terrific. The chicken sandwich and the avocado toast were both fresh and creative with bright flavors. We took our meal to go and ended up eating it just across from the restaurant on an outdoor table. We live in the area and are already planning to go back. Mike & Heather

What a nice little place. They clearly care about the food they are making. Took the time to help me figure out what to order to avoid my dietary choices.

My first introduction to a Torta (Mexican sandwich). Incredibly tasty. Owner was extremely helpful in describing what it was. Inside is a bit spartan, but their sandwiches are incredible and you can just take it to go and sit on a nearby park bench to enjoy it. This place did not show up high on the yelp search list, but it has five stars. This makes me question yelp's algorithm for prioritizing search results as it should've shown up near the top.

Arroyo's is family owned business. The owners, Luis & Mayra, are genuinely friendly individuals. Love their avocado toast! Their cranberry bread is delicious. Their sandwiches, salads, tortas are excellent and very flavorful! Their coffee is rich and flavorful, as well. I want to try one of everything on their menu. They have a wide variety of smoothies, breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, and Mexican-inspired foods and snacks. They have a nice indoor/outdoor eating area. Today (2-4-23), I came in for my avocado toast. Mayra gave me a sample of their barbacoa they sell at the Farmer's Market on Sundays in Old Town La Quinta. Their barbacoa is a must try. If you are in La Quinta, stop by, say hi, sit, relax and grab a bite to eat. You will want to come back for more. I love this place! P.S. Arroyo's reminds me of my family restaurant long ago. Felt very familiar being here. Thanks Mayra for the chit-chat today and about your "El Chavo del 8" torta de jamon. Lovin' the new name for your torta!! See you the next time.

As a local I have passed by this place many times while visiting the shops or meeting a friend for cocktails in Old Town LQ. This is the first time I stopped by and so glad about this decision. Sometimes I don't want a massive burger and fries or a large lunch- this was the Perfect size turkey sandwich, and boy was it flavorful. I sat outside and enjoyed it as I watched a lot of other patrons come and go with their large to go orders and other equally satisfied patio diners commented on how tasty their choices were. Yup, I'll be back.

We enjoy the La Quinta farmers market every Sunday and always have lunch at a nearby restaurant after we shop. Yesterday however, we wandered by Arroyo's booth in time to enjoy a sample of the Jamon Torta and it was so good that we said the heck with going out to lunch and ordered two Jamon Tortas to go. Honestly, this was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had, and it makes me want to try everything on the menu. Seriously, give these guys a shot the next time you are at the Farmer's Market in LQ!
