“Delicious food! We had vegetarians and meat eaters and everyone left happy.There is a reason the Grubhub reviews are 5/5. The food!The Orange tofu was the best we’ve ever had. Very crispy on the outside and soft inside.Vegans and Vegetarians will love this place.My husband got a garlic fish dish that he loved as well.We dined in, but noticed most people order it to go. It’s definitely an old school vibe. Not modern decor. Not really a first date place.Staff was super friendly.Cute mom and pop restaurant. Support small business while eating delicious Chinese food.“

“I went on a date with a special woman and it was a great experience. The food is excellent as well as the staff. Their sushi is a work of art that tastes excellent. The restaurant has great ambiance and I would recommend going there for a wonderful experience. I Love it.

“Food was fantastic. Some of best Thai food my husband and I have ever had. We live in New York City and love Thai Food so have tried tons of it but this was really special. It isn’t sweet like a lot of US Thai food but rather tastes fresh and has lots of complex layers of flavors (lemongrass, ginger etc). Get the Tom yum soup if you go!“

“We weren’t sure when we got to the place since it was fairly dark and small in the restaurant. However when we ordered and got our food, we were very pleasantly surprised. The rolls were so big and of great quality. Most sushi places give more rice and less fish/meat but that was certainly NOT the case here. We were a pretty large party and ordered a good amount of food and everything came out quickly and well-made. The staff even gave us an off-the-menu sushi roll on the house after we got all of our food. Highly recommend this place. Don’t let the outside/appearance fool you, this place is a hidden gem with great food and service.“

“My first time eating here and we absolutely loved it . We like to have lunch and fellowship after attending service at The Garden in Indio and this was close and heard it had great food . The food and service were outstanding !!! So much food I will have leftovers for a couple of meals . Thank you“

“***Delicious*** Chinese food. Excellent value for your money. They PACK the box with food, so much food that it pops out of the box lol. It's hard to find a good Chinese place in the valley. We are so happy we found Fong Lam. The ladies that helped us were all so nice. Highly recommend; we will definitely be back!“

“First time at this restaurant. The service was very good and nice. The ambiance was nice and not so busy. The food, well while I appreciate the preparation was fine. It was not the best and not the worst. Just… fine. Would we recommend, of course. At least once to make your own decision. Would we go back, probably not. We came, we saw/experienced and now we’re good.“

“Tried the Chef's Feast; hot & sour soup was hearty and flavorful; the pork dumplings were crispy in a delicious garlic sauce; the Spicy Crispy Chicken (loaded with garlic, green onions and their sweet and spicy sauce, so good!; and finally, the Honey Chicken, good, but could use a little something to bring out the full flavor.
The customer service was pretty good for a mid-week.

“The food is amazing! Our waiter was very nice and ensured we had everything we needed. The Spicy Chicken in Peanut sauce is the bomb! I seriously do shots of this sauce and was very tempted to lick the plate. Hope you enjoy, we tried a few different dishes but that one is my go to next visit for sure.“
