I eat lunch here at least 3 or 4 times a week and every single time they put the side of tortilla chips in with my tacos which makes them soggy. I know there's sleeves for the chips at other locations. It's really annoying.

Visiting from out of state. The first time we went to a store in Palmdale, CA. Food was moist, and tortillas were fresh, not hard on the edges. Chicken was not overcooked and burnt on the top. The bowl was full to the top. This place bowl half full. A real disappointment. I travel 975 miles for a big disappointment. I look forward to my pollo bowl every year when we visit family. Please return it back to the once excellent food I look forward to.

My children are fans of Pollo loco and requested for a 5 star review. We go every time they want to celebrate a sports competition and need to recharge energy with chicken nachos.I have to admit, even though I’m not 100% aligned with the branding, the food is good quality and absolutely delicious. I specially enjoy the chicken salad and can’t wait to try it again!
I should have read the reviews before walking in and ordering. Like many reviews of the last number of months, the food is not good... the chicken is so overcooked. It's dry, crunchy and you could chew on it endlessly it's so tough. The broccoli is rubbery and surprisingly the beans (which I assumed would be good) are really really bland. There's a divider wall between the register and eating area... it hid all the crumbs covering the floor and even the tables until you had already ordered and were ready to eat. I have now read many reviews for this exact location that span the last 6 months. This is a common experience and it seems to me that the "replies" written by the management to address the poor reviews are really just auto generated replies and based on my experience being similar to what has been noted in the other reviews, not something the actual management apparently cares to address or even improve. What a shame as the people taking my order were friendly, welcoming and attentive.
Just like every restaurant, they, too, have shrinking portions. A large soda up to 3.90 cents is crazy. It's a matter of principle now. This is absolutely unacceptable.
