I went with my family to celebrate my brother's inlaws 50 year anniversary. The staff was very professional and nice and the food was so so so good. I highly recommend this place! I know the owner Sandy and although she couldn't be there she set up very nicely! Thank you Sandy!

We were excited to go to Fortun’s Kitchen for their Chop Chop salad which we have usually had and most of the time thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately we were very disappointed and felt ripped off. We ordered the happy hour Chop Chop salad which was $13.95 on the menu. Our first disappointment was the salad we were presented. It is supposed to have cheese, pepperoni and salami. It contained mostly lettuce and fewer than a handful of those other items. It was basically a side salad that would usually be priced about $7.00. The real surprise was when we received the check. We were charged for the dinner priced Chop Chop salad at $23.95. Feeling totally ripped off at this point we asked our server about the order and he made an adjustment to the check. Watch out.

We were seated at the bar, having dinner. A drunk came in and immediately started making vulgar insulting comments to my brother and I. We complained to the female bartender who had served him 2 margaritas during this time. She did nothing to shut him up or kick him out. We paid and left without finishing our food as the drunk patron continued to insult and threaten us. The drunk patron should not have been served and should have been removed from the premises.

Wow. Went to an afterparty at Fortun’s. They had great cocktails. But the beef tallow French fries stole the show. You got try those. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Food is great, and they have a huge bar, must be 50 feet long. Great place for food and drinks.

Our group of six enjoyed a delicious dinner at Fortun’s. The rotisserie chicken is super moist and tasty (best that my friend had ever tasted!) , and the brisket burnt ends appetizer were addicting; crispy crunchy on the outside, tender in the middle. Service was friendly and very accommodating. Check out the ice bar!

Everything was excellent ‼️ As soon as we walk in the door the front desk lady said our names. No one has ever done that before at any restaurant. We made our reservation online. Food, service and atmosphere was excellent. We will be back ❣️

Don’t plan on a late reservation. Had a 7:30pm reservation, table wasn’t ready, had a drink at the bar while waiting ( that part was great) once seated had to ask a bus boy for a server…. Then we “attempted to order food & the Kitchen turned the oven off at 8:15 on a Friday night during the height of the season.

Give it another try! Managed Chris is there and has lots of experience. The place is taking off. All of the staff is great and it’s the perfect locals spot with lots of seating. (Ask to sit in the indoor/outdoor patio.) Perfect date night vibe! But I think we’ll rent the upstairs private room next time. Excited to return!

We sat outside and the patio area was stark and uninviting. We were toward the back, looking at the kitchen area with stacked high chairs. No ambiance.
Food and service was good.

Party of 6 for dinner at 6pm. They were out of French Onion soup, out of hollandaise sauce, out of lime sorbet. I know it sounds trivial and I can see some things being unavailable later in the evening due to a higher than expected order ratio, but they obviously started the night without these things. For dessert, chocolate mousse was a densely rich torte and second cup of coffee never arrived.
Services was satisfactory (except for coffee not arriving), , atmosphere fine, but the kitchen needs work. Beware, for parties of six they charge a 20% gratuity.
Wouldn’t recommend.

Didn’t feel like I was at a restaurant.

We had dinner at Fortun,s. It was an average experience. Food was OK, nothing special.
We were very unhappy with the 4% surcharge for using our VISA. This is a blatant money grab. I realize that VISA charges merchants for a customer to use a card, but accepting cards brings more customers to a restaurant so the restaurant does benefit. I believe they are actually charging more than what VISA charges them.
This was very disappointing and we will not be going back.

Ordered early bird special. Food was way too salty, felt sick. The steak was too chewy. Pasta was over cooked. Salad was good.

A flop. Flop. Flop. Understaffed. Claustrophobic feeling place. Empty. Can see why it’s closed most of the week. Food is mediocre.
