Where the 111 passes between two rocks, they built this restaurant on one rock. Ate upstairs, outdoors, under a heat lamp and close to the rock. Had the small-plate salmon and a very tender small-plate beef short rib. Both dishes had great presentation and were very tasty!

Wanted to send a shout out to the La Quinta Cliffhouse for their generosity and kindness towards us Veterans on Veterans Day.
While some establishments offer a free trinket or something on Veterans Day, the Cliffhouse offered Vets a complete dinner at absolutely no cost.
If members of the Military and/or Veterans are important to you, please patronize the La Quinta Cliffhouse in the near future. They care and are the best.

Update Nov 1 2025. Andreas was friendly attentive. Caesar salad had little flavor. 1/2 salmon and the vege pasta were good. Dined on patio by waterfall.
Nov 11 2024 Server Andy was friendly and attentive. Dined on patio with waterfall, was a bit noisy. Wedge salad mixed greens asparagus side 1/2 salmon arancini were all flavorful.

This place was a highlight.. My girlfriend and I came here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Unbelievable service from Michael and team , old fashions were out of this world and food was amazing- We shared a Steak and Scallops, top notch. Be prepared to spend some dough that being said you are in Palm Springs you aren't there to save money. Cant wait for our next visit.

We happened upon this place searching for a good place to eat in La Quinta. What a gem this was to find. The food was delicious. Loved the opportunity to have the sunset dinner. The salmon salad was amazing. Delicious bread and the service was impeccable. Our water glasses were never empty. The restaurant had beautiful features like a waterfall and we were fortunate to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the rocks with our dinner !
The food was amazing, the service outstanding! We picked it for the views, however, didn’t get a table with a view. The manager (Katrina) “caught wind” of this and invited us back specifically to enjoy one of their view spots. We were just blown away with the over the top service. We are excited to go back to enjoy the view and try more items on their menu. I also LOVED that they have half order options, which I think more restaurants should do. That way you can try more menu items without feeling like we are wasting food. LOVED everything about this place!

Don't waste your money on sub par food. Calamari was very overfried and dry. Brussel sprouts were soggy and bitter tasting. And, $15 Caesar salads were soggy and dressing had a strong vinegar taste? Our waiter was the worst.. Seemed overwhelmed or not quick. He didn't check on us till the entrees came out and didn't refill my husband's iced tea till much later after it was empty for awhile. This place has gone downhill since 3 or 4 years ago and prior to that, it was good food. After $150 later, (no alcohol in that figure), we were very disappointed 😞
