Morgan’s in the desert

It's always a wonderful experience at Morgan's - we sat outside by the fire and it was lovely. The service and food are outstanding!

Service very slow and food just ok thus value doesn't match up. I found it funny that French onion soup basically came out with broth, some onions mixed in and 2 pieces of sliced thin baguette bread on top , no cheese . Live music was a nice touch . Would I go back, no .

Absolutely exceptional dining experience at Morgan's!! Everything was delicious and prepared with the utmost care. The filet was cooked to perfection and we wish we could bottle up the balsamic glaze on the wedge salad to bring home. Compliments to the chef and staff for a 5 star experience! We enjoyed sitting on the patio with the heater. A very relaxing environment.

Morgans of the Desert exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a perfect evening. The live piano music added a beautiful touch and made the night feel truly special. Every dish showed remarkable attention to detail and plate presentation. The Diver Scallops were beautifully composed with ube pomme purée, apple chutney, bosc pear, crispy ginger micro salad, and a stone fruit gastrique. The Beef Bourguignon was rich, tender, and full of depth, paired perfectly with pomme purée, roasted carrot, mushrooms, bacon, cipollini onions, and a silky braising jus. We enjoyed delicious wines from France that complemented each course perfectly. Dessert was outstanding. The Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake with salted caramel and macerated berries was unforgettable, and the Valrhona Jivara 40% Chocolate Crème Brûlée with crème chantilly and fresh berries was the perfect finish. We could not have asked for a better evening.

Overall a nice dining experience. The food was tasty and our wine selection paired well with our diner entrees. Service was good and attentive as well. We will go back again.

The food was absolutely amazing. Everyone was great from Brian The bartender to  Marilyn our server. Chef Rene even took the time to come out and ask how our food was. Highly recommend this place. We had such a great time we even considered booking our holiday party here

Great customer service and environment. Food did take a little long but was extremely good. Prices were higher than expected for online review but still manageable for the type of restaurant.

We started explaining our usual dietary challenges to our waiter when we first arrived. Within in minutes we had Chef Rene Reyes at our table. He was so cordial and understanding. He reviewed all of allergy concerns and began directing us toward items on the menu and explaining what modifications he would make and how they would enhance the culinary experience. He recommended a Shrimp Starter dish that he adjusted for us. That dish included polenta, which I would have never thought of pairing with it. It was out of this world good. The salmon dish was extraordinary. I don't think we've ever been treated that special in a restaurant before. Chef Rene, you're the best. Thank you for making it a memorable evening for us. Great ambience and excellent service. We ordered steak and seafood pasta, crab cakes and it was delicious. First time to dine at this place and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is inside the Historic La Quinta Resort and Club. The outside seating is refreshing sorrounded by beautiful flowers and garden. Enjoyed our dinner experience.

I unfortunately did not get a chance to eat here on this visit, but I love going into the bar area and sitting there having a wonderful drink while listening to the piano player. What a great atmosphere, what a gorgeous property this is!

We reserved a 5:30pm table on the outside patio. There was a wedding reception going on with a live band which was very loud. As more tables were seated and the band gave way to speeches the noise level seemed to balance out.

We Love Morgan's! The outdoor dining is Romantic, Delicious Food & Fabulous Service. Have been there many times & always look forward to going there- Morgan's is our Favorite 😍

Service and atmosphere is good. Food is mid at best, like low mid. It seemed like food was prepared with low quality ingredients. Flavour was seriously lacking.

Great setting by the fireplace looking at the moon And garden . Service was excellent- food was great - cocktails a bit pricey like $26 for a margarita.. recommend for business diner or tranquille moment
