Delicious and great value fixed plate meal. However very very slow and uneven service Overcooked salmon sent back to kitchen and not replaced until other diners had finished eating. Will try once more to see if these problems are a one off . Fingers crossed.
We are locals in La Quinta and planned a special night out. The restaurant had only 4 other tables of patrons (not unusual for July). The host took us to a table right next to the bathroom. Why?? The restaurant was nearly empty with a ton of good seats available. We complained and were shown to another table (with attitude -- "Sit where you want"). My husband is Indian and took this as a personal slight. The food was good, but my other complaint is that we were eating our first course of gazpacho when our entrees were brought to the table. This is a personal peeve of mine ... I'm spending the money to eat at a nice restaurant. I don't want to feel rushed. Overall, it was not a great experience and we don't plan to return.
Our waitress was great. She made recommendations which we took up the offer. They are running a Summer Special for $33/person. It was delicious. There are 2 entrees to choose from so we ordered one of each. Salmon and Spaghetti w/ asparagus, heirloom tomatoes. For starters they served us Gazpacho, then the entree and a delicious dessert. Great value!!! The next morning we went for breakfast. They have the best eggs Benedict which I ordered. My husband had the 2 eggs, Apple sausage, hash browns and sour dough toast which he liked.
Disappointing meal and lackluster service. Wobbly table and took a long time for the food to come out- and it wasn't what we expected especially considering the price.
This restaurant is abysmal. I was drawn to it because it had strong reviews here, on Opentable, that were clearly dishonest. Or negative reviews were hidden. The decor is EXTREMELY dated, straight out of a greasy-surfaced 2002 interior decorator catalogue. If you miss the days of brown and burgundy and repetitive stylized rectangle textiles, then you'll love this spot! Everything was tacky and not well-cleaned, the table had the dull wipe marks of a dirty towel and the sticky texture of neglect and age. We had a server that had one table, and he was not proactive nor friendly. He made no recommendations. I ordered a berry and vodka cocktail, one, that was $20. It came in a pint glass and had no perceived taste of liquor. They gave me a regular straw, but a hilarious quantity of macerated berries that simply clogged the straw and was a hackneyed idea. We got the Falafel entree as an appetizer, another $20. The pita was DIS-GUSTING. It can only be described as NASA mattress material with a brown coating on the outside. It had the texture of styrofoam and the flavor of rancid oil, it wasn't warmed up whatsoever before it hit my plate. The rest of the entree was good, but five teeny tiny falafel and a smear of hummus does not a $20 entree make. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and added an extra side caesar. The caesar was the sole bright spot in this meal. But I'm saving the best for last. My Sea Bass entree was served with polenta, pancetta, leeks and corn. The fish was rancid, having a deeply unpleasant taste of camphor and latex. And all of the "fixins" with the fish were CLEARLY repurposed from the breakfast buffet - polenta was, in fact, grits. The pancetta was cut-up, refried bacon. It was embarrassing that I fell for this dish because it was clearly just - breakfast leftovers with ancient frozen fish. We had one single cocktail, one entree-as-an-appetizer, two entrees and one side salad: our total with tip was $165. Never, EVER again
Resort is historic and beautiful. Restaurant needs a refresh. Menu is OK for a hotel restaurant. Food quality was good. Had a shrimp cocktail (huge shrimp), BBQ Chicken flat, Cesar Salad (way too much cheese). Some nice people working there. Service was OK. The OpenTable listing appears to need updating. It doesn't appear the hotel operates as a W=A any longer. Saw zero Waldorf branding.
Excellent atmosphere and service. I knew it was going to be moderately expensive so no surprise.
Just want to leave a nice review for Sylvia. Our attendant at TWENTY26 tonight. We had a dinner with 40 plus diners and her service attitude and smile was terrific. The food was great. This service was tremendous. We will definitely recommend this to anybody who wants an enjoyable night out.
Great in every way. Hector, who had our table, just was so pleasant and did a great job with our group of eight. Food and drink were perfect too, wonderful night!
The food and service tonight were outstanding. We always enjoy 26 for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

The food was very good, veggies were fresh. The staff was GREAT very friendly and attentive.
Good selection of healthier options, including many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Thoughtful staff, especially in treating my 4-yr-old as a guest too.
The avocado toast had about millimeter of ‘avocado spread’ on it and costs $25. When I asked if it was typical for the AVOCADO toast to have so little avocado and no actual avocado, I was told yes by the server and ‘I didn’t do it’ before he walked away.
The outdoor patio was great. Nice and cool. Our table ordered the 12 oz steak, prime rib dip, cob salad, a burger, fries and tots. All the food was good and our server was outstanding. Good value for the food we received. Table favorites were the con salads, burger, tots and fries!
Staying at La Quinta Resort, this is one of three restaurants. We had the most friendly, attentive and charming server, Yvette. She was wonderful and made our dinner a wonderful experience. We had the best Cobb salad but split it if you are with someone. It is huge. Also a great shrimp cocktail. Lived eating here and will be back.
