Delicious and great value fixed plate meal. However very very slow and uneven service Overcooked salmon sent back to kitchen and not replaced until other diners had finished eating. Will try once more to see if these problems are a one off . Fingers crossed.
We are locals in La Quinta and planned a special night out. The restaurant had only 4 other tables of patrons (not unusual for July). The host took us to a table right next to the bathroom. Why?? The restaurant was nearly empty with a ton of good seats available. We complained and were shown to another table (with attitude -- "Sit where you want"). My husband is Indian and took this as a personal slight. The food was good, but my other complaint is that we were eating...
Our waitress was great. She made recommendations which we took up the offer. They are running a Summer Special for $33/person. It was delicious. There are 2 entrees to choose from so we ordered one of each. Salmon and Spaghetti w/ asparagus, heirloom tomatoes. For starters they served us Gazpacho, then the entree and a delicious dessert.
