Delicious cozy food and ambiance. Staff is friendly, portions are hearty and healthy. Been twice now. Absolutely in love with their Shawarma, falafel, saffron rice, and hummus. Quickly falling in love with Middle Eastern food. Makes my belly happy everytime. No heartburn, no guilt, no regret. The food makes me wake up energized next day. My wife and I will be lifers here for sure!

Diplomat is a clean and new Mediterranean restaurant with a modern decor. Staff are friendly and quick to make your visit enjoyable. My water glass was filled repeatedly during my visit. The food is fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. I shared an appetizer of humas, cumbers, and soft pita chips. Delicious! We also shared fried cheese with olives, greens, and pickled turnips. The plate was visually appealing and so yummy! I can't wait to try other dishes that are new to me on my next visit.

I recently decided to visit The Diplomat in La Verne after being recognized by the Bonita Unified School District for my service to the schools and community. What a great choice! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the combo plate with filet, chicken, and ground beef—it was more than enough for the both of us. The filet was juicy and sooo good! Excellent service and a fantastic experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!

Literally everything about this place is amazing... the chicken kabob is the best I've ever had. Also, I've never liked hummus in my life.... this place has changed my mind. I really loved this place, great food, great ambience for midday work break, but I was definitely disappointed that they charged me a full amount for hummus and tabouli when it was clear from yelp pictures, they have a chicken kabob platter with sides. There is absolutely no reason I should have been charged $40 for a lunch meal. Every main dish should come with two sides, this is standard for lunch anywhere. Why would I come back if I'm paying double the standard amount for a lunch meal?
