The owner was a very nice and friendly gentleman. Not sure who the young lady was behind making sandwiches but there was awkward silence before he came out from the back to greet me. My humble recommendation is it would improve the experience to train all staff to speak to all customers that walk inside the store. Acknowledgment is huge even if to state “hello there someone will be right with you shortly” adds a nice elegant touch. IJS my 2 cents. Otherwise the food is great!...

I always appreciate the amount of meat they put in the hook & ladder sanwich! The hot sandwich tastes so good every time, fresh bread, and all of the juices come out of the meats and veggies! Even if I accidentally wait too long to eat my sandwich, it is bomb with the soggy bottom bun haha! No kidding though!

Round two. Just popped on over to Laverne‘s firehouse subs to get a second taste of these amazing sandwiches. However, although the sandwiches definitely hit the spot. There was some slight disappointments with Laverne service. The newbie, great guy, failed to have the service that he needed as he messed up my sandwich. ask for lettuce, didn’t get it. Also too if you ask for extra bacon, just know you’re only getting one piece. That thing is thin as paper. Still hot sauce...
