I am convinced that those who do not like these donuts do not like donuts. They might tell you they do, but they are the equivalent of people who say they love chocolate and hand you a Hershey's bar. I compare all donuts to the ones at this shop. Throughout the country everyone has their favorite donut shops. They think that donuts need a ton of toppings or should be the consistency of grocery store bread. I pity these people. These are the best donuts I've every had.
I judge every shop on their glazed and cake donuts, because you can tell if they are good bakers by those donuts. The glaze donuts here are incredibly soft, moist, and delicious. The cake are equally delicious but have a denser consistency. The same dough that is used for the glazed are used for the maple and chocolate bars. The maple glaze is delicious.
