Delicious food and a fun place to eat as you take in the coming and going of aircraft and sweeping views of the San Gabriel Mountains.

Stopped in on Thursday morning after my doctors appointment. Wanted to get breakfast and this was a short easy drive from my doctors office. Located at the airport the restaurant provides a great opportunity to see general aviation and enjoy yourself while you’re having breakfast or lunch. The restaurant offers seating outside or inside ( prefer outdoor) to watch the flights and outdoors. I had there (2) eggs with bacon and hash browns with white toast. The food arrived quickly and the service was excellent. 🤓👍✈️ definitely would come back again.

Norm’s Hangar Cafe in La Verne is a must-visit if you’re an aviation enthusiast. The food is decent, with standard cafe fare that’s satisfying but nothing exceptional. What truly sets this spot apart is its location right on the tarmac, offering a unique dining experience with views of small planes taking off and landing. The atmosphere has a nostalgic charm, especially if you’re into aviation, making it more than just a meal—it’s an experience. Perfect for a laid-back brunch with a view.

How can you go wrong with a restaurant that has excellent food, and provides views of the local mountains from the patio with the excitement of watching the landing and plane departures on the runways. Wait time was a little longer than expected but they are busy. Pancakes are large and delicious, omelettes were stuffed and made with 4 eggs, so portions are large, for those with hearty appetites. I did notice some menu items could be portioned half. Staff was very friendly and attentive.
