I had a very disappointing experience with the customer service. Despite plenty of open seating, the host insisted there was a wait for a table. It took over 20 minutes before anyone took our beverage order, and that was only after we asked. The manager, Eric, was incredibly unprofessional—he rolled his eyes while serving our meal. On top of that, it took an hour to receive our food. Eric clearly needs to take customer service lessons, and I hope his team does not follow his poor example. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for lunch, especially if you’re on a schedule.

Party of 8 half children, half adults. Birthday celebration. We waited until entire party was there before being seated, dinner was completed in about an hour. Felt somewhat rushed, food was delicious, chef was entertaining. Will go again for future celebrations

Really fun place to go eat if you like a show chef cooking in front of you (Teppanyaki grill). Corny jokes free of charge! They will try to fill up the table, so you may have to wait for more people to show up. Very lively atmosphere, loud birthday celebrations and sounds of clanging cookware all around. The food is delicious! BBQ Roll was delicious, and their Sriracha sauce is super hot! ?

The bartender asked me if my “granddaughter” had ID. In fact she is my daughter! I asked him if I looked like a grandmother and he didn’t shrugged his shoulders and said “yea”. WTH?! The manager wasn’t all that consoling either when I complained. Sad how bad personnel can ruin an evening and reputation of a restaurant! Will never return to this establishment!

This location is not as great as it used to be. Celebrating birthdays used to be fun, but I guess we just got a chef that didn't like to cook, forgot food, and we didn't get our onion volcano ?
Dietary restrictions: At least this location is great when you explain to the chefs any dietary allergies they try to cook certain foods first. I really do love Shogun.

I was so pleased and happy with staff and manager, it was a long day for me and I was racing against time to make my Aunts Birthday dinner and the staff were very patient and understanding of my demeanor…the cook Rafa was super awesome and myself and family were very satisfied with overall service…I will definitely come back again… Thanks Sho gun of La Vern
Parking: Parking was great didn’t have to park to far from restaurant
It’s so unfortunate, my family and I would come here to this place every year for birthdays, we just went yesterday and the AC was out which was so uncomfortable and has been out for a week, I don’t get how this place overcharges for food but can’t fix the ac, this is not a good working environment for the workers and so bad and uncomfortable for everyone. They also downgraded to cheap frozen pound cakes for birthday treats which before they gave butter cakes which was part of the reason why we would go for birthdays because the butter cake was so good. They still have butter cakes but are charging $11 for a little one, this is ridiculous! Come on shoguns, do better if your gonna charge outrageous prices don’t go cheap on us, we’ve been coming here for over 10 years for birthday and we will not be going here now with the ridiculous changes they decided to make! This is very upsetting! I’m sure other people with notice as well and take their business elsewhere! Don’t come here, it’s horrible now!

We have been going there for over a decade. This time was the last one . We ordered the same thing we usually do and it was poor quality ! The spicy tuna roll was not spicy very mild and when we asked nicely for some dynamite sauce to spicy it up the supervisor came and said it would be 4.50 extra!!! So sad this was one of our favorite places to go to
