I have been to this place a couple of years ago and the sushi and food was really good. Today, I came here and I was disgusted. I don't like to write bad reviews because I know this is someone's business and lively hood and I don't want to have a negative impact for them but this place was horrible. I can't believe that they feel like it is ok to serve nasty food. The sushi appetizer was beyond nasty. The fish was so old and freeze dried. It had a horrible spoiled fish taste. Aside from that, the steak that was prepared in front of me was spoiled. It tasted spoiled. The bathroom was dirty. The service was disrespectful. Now I know why the place was empty. I was disappointed because this place used to be good.

This was by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered the eel roll, and when it came out, it tasted old and disgusting. I politely asked the server if I could switch it for a California roll, but she rudely told me “no, you must pay for another one.” I then asked if she could at least remove it from my bill, and again she refused, saying, “If you order it, you buy it.”

The rest of our food wasn’t much better. Portions were tiny, the vegetables were basically just onions, and it felt like they were serving scraps from the back. The menu said “soup or salad,” but when we asked for salad, we were told they only serve soup — very misleading.

The service was unbelievably unprofessional. The cook stood against the back wall staring at us while we ate, which was uncomfortable, and when we finished, the staff slammed our checks down on the table with attitude. When we tried to calmly express how terrible the experience was, the staff actually started yelling at us, saying “I don’t care, you’re not welcome here,” and practically pushed us out the door.

This place is dirty, the food is awful, and the staff is beyond rude. It honestly felt like a bad comedy skit. No wonder the restaurant was empty — it should be shut down. Please don’t ever step foot in this restaurant! They deserve 0 start!

It's been a while since we were last in. Usually just special occasions. While it was quite quiet for a Saturday evening, the food was on point and no complaints at all. We had a mix of sushi rolls, yakasobi and teppan/teriyaki, and a Wabi Sabi Tai drink and no complaints. Sucks to see it that slow.

Very disappointed we used to come here years ago. It's changed we had a 4:30pm reservation to find out this restraurant had no customers the eve before Fathers Day. After the food arrived we found out why. They changed their soup now it's water no taste with two small pieces of mushroom and a pinch of onion. The salad is way smaller too, now really tiny. They no longer use garlic butter either just plain butter this was so disappointibg. We came here to get thir calamari steaks well, they only had 3 so some of us gad to change our meals since we needed about 7 steaks...unreal.since we were the first people eating for the evening. Nothing had much flavor, we really missed the farlic butter. They no longer offer yum yum sauce and ginger sauce, it's like their saving it. We had to ask for it.
We were so disappointed i had choosen here since we now live in AZ my kids did a late Mothers Day Dinner for me. Even at 6pm the sushi bar was still closed. This place even the bathroom was dirty, abd smelled, soap dispensers didn't work either abd only 1 roll of toilet paper what was almost gone was out. Remember they weren't busy, just laziness. I won't be back. The only thing that was way more was my ticket abd it was way over $450.for our meals

The crunchy roll was disgusting! I asked it to be off my bill and told NO! You ordered it. I will never eat there again.

The waitress was very rude she messed up my sons order and when I told her she messed up she smacked her lips at me then when they were serving us mine and my husband’s portions were way smaller than everyone else’s she never came to ask if we needed a refill on our drinks and when we paid our bill they chased us down and demanded we give them I tip ?!?! I never not tip but the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced and didn’t want to spend another dime there!

I got a to-go order of sushi rolls. I blame myself because I’m new to the area and didn’t realize until after I ordered that it’s a teppanyaki style restaurant so the sushi was probably not their strong suit. The sushi was so bland and so disappointing! I will never order sushi from here again. I’m willing to try other things on the menu if I get the chance to go sit and have dinner. The sushi had absolutely no flavor at all and I had to heavily dip it in soy sauce to eat it. I was so disappointed because it was kinda on the pricey end.

Still the same great flavors! Wabi Sabi has been a long time favorite hibachi restaurant. There are others in the nearby vicinity with extra long wait times compared to Wabi Sabi. On the evening of Sunday 12/29/24 it was practically empty. The food was fresh and the server was on point with every detail to make our dining experience special (and fast). Parking is free in the adjacent lot. Easy access from foothill blvd and the 210 freeway.

Its very quiet and not that many people in there. So it's a good thing if you don't like crowds. But I went there for my birthday just recently for hibachi and they don't do anything entertaining while they cook. But it was still a great time and food!! A lil pricey but it's supposed to be!
