This was our most disappointing meal in Lafayette in decades. We paid over $100 for our food. We had a hair in one dish and we ordered the garlic prawns. There were five small shrimp in a pile of vegetables. The restaurant was empty. A two year old cute little girl was walking around behind the counter eating food in her hand. I didn't have a problem, I loved her and talked to her. But it just reflected how badly run the place is. The chef knew we had takeout and realized we wouldn't take the time to call or go back. I have never called a restaurant for takeout issues in my life. I called and gave her feedback. With all the options in Lafayette, we will never order from here again.

Recently, they updated the menu and have made significant changes. The new food is spectacular. They really have something special now, and the food is really affordable. Great gluten free options as wellDietary restrictions: Gluten free

Dropped in last night for a late dinner, 8:30 PM. I ordered a chicken dish off a new menu and it was the single best meal I have had in some time. Chicken, coconut, rice, cilantro and a wonderful bowl of broth.Cannot recall the name, Ro-Rhotem?They got beyond the usual noodles that so many people seem to love.Expand your horizons and come in for a visit. There is so much more to Thai cuisine and this is one place to get it.

Very tasty food, a little on the pricey side (which is in-line for the pricing in Lafayette). Service was friendly, although a little slow. And the interior design is great, though I probably could have done without the feel-good pop tunes on the radio- I've heard enough One Direction in my life already.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter, even with the sidewalk outside, and seems like it would be easy to pull a chair aside with their table setup. Nice large aisle up the middle.

I've lived in Northern Thailand and this place has a great selection from that area. Authentic and delicious.

What an unfortunate choice of thai food probably the worst lunch the tom u soup arrived cold the satay chicken was flavorless chicken soaked in baking soda and the worst seafood salad the calamari was so overcooked it was like leather we were unable to eat the unknown white seafood was also so overcooked but totally mushy.Save your money and try somewhere else

We had not been to this Thai restaurant in more than 10 years. We used to go frequently but the food quality dropped and the value was not there. So happy to report that they did get a new chef and the food was excellent. Both our curry dish and our sautéed prawns were excellent, and the portions were generous. Service was very cheerful and efficient. We will go back.

The appetizer was excellent, but the Pad Thai lacked flavor. It was so bad i actually threw it away. Not sure if i will return.

We were in the Lafayette area last night and stopped into Amarin for some dinner. So glad we did! This place was recommended by a friend of ours and I can see why! The food was delicious, fresh and looked to me to be high quality ingredients. The veggie fresh spring rolls were the best I've ever had. We also loved the yellow curry chicken. Excellent dish. Amy , our server was wonderful - the service was excellent. I don't usually write reviews but I just had to do it for this place. We'll definitely be back to try out more dishes.

Yummy! I had the green curry for lunch and even though the portion size could feed two... I gave it my best effort to eat all of it. Delicious! And the staff was so nice too!

Great food and very good service.Last time I was here, I got a level 4 spicy thinking I would be able to handle it. I couldn't. I ended up packing it home and making 4 meals with the leftovers. Still delicious despite that. This time, I ordered a less spicy meal and it was perfect.

I've both dined in and gotten takeout from here. It's my favorite Thai restaurant in the Lamorinda area. Their Khao Soi noodles are like a magic trick because they have crispy noodles sticking up out of the bowl with chopsticks sticking out of them, and it looked so cool! It also tasted delicious. I've also tried the fried calamari, fried tofu salad with peanut sauce, tom yum soup with shrimp, green curry with chicken, and mango sticky rice. Everything I had was EXCELLENT! If I could, I would take a bath in that peanut sauce because it's that good! The tofu was really crispy and not at all greasy. The meat and veggies were fresh-tasting and tender and they don't skimp on the portions. They really put the YUM in Tom yum and it's a great warming soup for the cooling fall weather or if you're feeling sick. I will be returning to this restaurant again and again!
