Good food, service was ok. We had to ask the server to order appetizers and refill our waters. $25 to cut 5 slices from a cake we brought for a birthday was a little excessive.

Very positive and helpful staff from changing our seating request to explaining the various offerings on their menu. Excellent food and drink menu. A relaxed atmosphere with a nice outdoor patio. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience and will return to experience more of the Peruvian cuisine.

We had the best time! The restaurant has the best energy and everyone in the place seemed to be enjoying it. They were extremely busy but nothing suffered because of it. The food was superb as was the service. Great place.

My first time in California and I had a good experience 2 weeks ago in the restaurant Barranco. It was really good like in Perú. The food is too expensive but delicious. Worth every dollar Paella, lomo and empanadas the best. I have to write this because the restaurant worth it. The service is so bad. It's the worst I've ever had. The servers is really careless. One of then I think is in training because she didn’t wear uniform and wore a gym hoodie, I was surprise about that because the kind of the restaurant (expensive) she took the order and never came back to ask if I need anything else, desserts or drinks. Later I tried to talk with the order server but it was worse she dindn’t know about the menu or allergies she didn’t help us. All servers were sit at the bar. The mister that recieved in the front door was very friendly and he brought us the table. They have to work better costumer serveces or change for servers with more experience. At this point the restaurant wasn’t fully saturday night and I felt that is the reason for why is empty.

Ordered a virgin mojito (it is listen on their menu under the non-alcoholic drinks), the waitress repeated back virgin mojito. Mojito had alcohol in it, so the bartender did not pay attention- the restaurant was not busy, so I do not understand how any confusion happened. The food was okay overall: traditional fish ceviche good (but not spicy, which I found strange), the ahi fusion one not as good (very sweet, not balanced with acidity), empanadas were delicious, yuca fries okay (good dipping sauce), lomo saltado great, the jalea was good except the mussels and clams were inedible (oily rubber), but the fish shrimp and calamari were good. The desserts were very delicious. We received a side of rocoto hot sauce that was not good. Whoever made this sauce must have made it incorrectly, it should not have been served. It had no salt or acid whatsoever, tasted bad and unfinished (like spicy water). We had multiple people at the table taste the sauce. It would have been nice to have a different option besides plain aioli served with the empanadas and jalea. The ambience was pleasant but beware they have some bench seating which is uncomfortable for the lower back. The staff were all very nice. One thing that was not okay was that we were a large party and so had an automatic 20% tip applied, however my husband was still prompted to tip upon paying the bill. That should not happen.

We had a number of people. Service was excellent! We had tequenos, empanadas, cebiche chirano- peruano, yucca chips, paella, and salmon sandwich! Every dish was delicious! We really liked the purple potato chips with a wonderful dipping sauce. Definitely planning our next visit to try more of this wonderful menu!

What an unexpected surprise, the place was lovely and service excellent. The food was amazing, portions, flavors, and variety all were enjoyable. I had the short rib and octopus along with a couple beers and sangria. It was plenty of food for my wife and I, definitely find time to get back there and try other menu items.

Came on a weeknight for a birthday dinner. Food is excellent, cocktails were delicious, though modest size for the price. Service was perfect. We decided to go tapas style for the table and ordered a few options, which worked quite well

Food is great, service is great. The bar is my favorite spot, but the seats are a bit uncomfortable at the bar.
