Probably our favorite restaurant in Lafayette. This Peruvian restaurant isn't just great by Lafayette standards, it's just great Peruvian food period. The Pescado a lo Macho is delicious and they are quite generous with the seafood portions. Great ceviche too!

The cocktails were well done (Pisco Sour). The food was delicious. The tuna tartare, stuffed avocados, prawns all very tasty. Group of 6 lots of appetizers and cocktails, our server kept right on top of everything. There was even live music. Very enjoyable evening.
Ordered lots of small plates to share instead of main courses, everything came out at same time, staff was perplexed at why that's a problem, were trying to take away plates only half eaten to make room for the new dishes. Not going back.

We are from Peru and can say that the flavor of the food is amazing, so fresh. The service is outstanding, our server Manuel gave us the best recommendations. The chef Sebastian and his team are so inspired and right on with the Peruvian dishes. Thank you guys!!!
Had lunch here...excellent Peruvian food, good location, nice servers. Recommended.

Food was delicious, although one of our 4 meals was slightly overcooked. The small bite plates were wonderful. Server in training did fine. The noise was terrible. I would not go again for an evening meal. We couldn't hear each other across a table.
Excellent, authentic Peruvian food. Fish is wonderfully fresh. Service is consistently attentive, helpful and friendly. Best to eat on patios if you want a less energetic ambience.

The food at Barranco was excellent! We had the ceviche to start, which was really fresh and there was a lot of it. I had the short ribs for my main meal, which were perfectly cooked and smothered in a delicious sauce. My husband had the steak, medium rare, and it was also excellent. I also had the pisco sour that I order at every Peruvian restaurant I go to since it's impossible to find anywhere else. It was really good and packed quite a punch! The wait staff was very attentive and quick. I highly recommend Barranco to anyone looking for an excellent meal and service.

First time and I really liked the food, we tried 4 dishes and each one had its unique touch. The only thing I didn't like was that they sat me right at the entrance with my 4-month-old baby and every time they opened the door the cold came in.Wheelchair accessibility: They didn't have much space for strollers and it's like a wheelchair, they should have a space for babies with strollers

The restaurant is cute but the tables are too close to each other. Literally you can easily hear the next tables conversations. The restaurant is very loud. Live music too, that was nice. Food was ok. We will probably not go back since we have our favorite Oeruvian restaurant. But it was nice to try something new. The service was great!
