I absolutely dig Batch and Brine. Their food has always been good, their servers have always been spot on, even their drinks are great even though they got rid of my favorite cocktail a few years ago. If you are a burger person eat their Blue burger. It is great every time I order it.

Located in downtown Lafayette. Paid street parking, can be a little difficult to park on nice/busier days. They do have a Yelp waitlist but came in on a Saturday afternoon for brunch and was seated right away for a party of 5. Inside decor was rustic and looked clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. We got: cucumber cooler mocktail, good but a little tart, refreshing but wouldn't get again 5/10 chicken and waffle bites, these were good and bigger than we thought they'd be. Chicken had a slight sweet/hot. Crispy and fresh. Waffles were also really tasty. 7/10 chicken fried steak, this was good and had a nice cut of steak. Good crisp, the highlight was the gravy 6/10 Cajun crab benny, tasty, good hollandaise, flavorful 8/1 Nashville chicken loco moco, really good. Chicken was battered and fried well. Again, the gravy was the highlight. Could've used a Mac salad or maybe some kind of slaw to keep with the theme. 9/10 burger with duck confit and cheese fries. Good butt the burger was very messy. French fries were good but the duck pieces were a little tough. The cheese/cheese sauce was also tasty but was a flavor that was slightly.. acquired taste-ish. Don't order if you don't want to get messy. 7/10 Overall, service and food was really good but there wasn't anything i would go out of my way for. However i would recommend trying them out.

Good Happy Hour spot in Lafayette. HH is everyday from 3-5pm. I came here for HH a few months ago. There's a beer flight deal 3 for $10 or 5 for $15. My boyfriend opted for the 5 deal and I got the Espresso Martini (Espress Ya' Self) which was $3 off. My drink was pretty tasty. We shared the pretzel for $7 which comes with mustard, I also asked for some beer cheese to go with it. My boyfriend got the Nashville Hot Slider $6 which he liked. Overall, not bad deals for Happy Hour.

A great spot to grab a bite downtown regardless what time a day it is. I always leave satisfied when I come here. I've only been for happy hour and brunch, but the drinks are always nice, beer selection great, and food always tasty. You can catch a game here, or sit outside on the patio if it's nice, and the staff/management are always super attentive and friendly.

Came here with mg family during spring break and it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered a burger , it was delicious ! There was a trainee taking our order, but I sense that he will become an expert server here at batch & brine. Finally, the ambiance was great especially because it was a sunny afternoon, and with the umbrellas it was completely comfortable and totally chill!

I came here for spring break and the first thing I wanted to say was I love the food . felt like it was a warm summer day even though it was the middle of spring. The new waiter was just brilliant!
Love this restaurant. I spent much of the pandemic on their outdoor patio with my dogs. Great food and friendly staff!

The food was absolutely lousy The quality has really declined. It's really hard to get French fries that are over cooked and soggy at the same time. I was with 5 other people and none of the dishes were quality. All agreed, too many good places to ever go back. They asked if we were enjoying the food and when we said not really . They responded with a smile and nothing further action ensued

The food was amazing, everything was perfect. The server was very polite and answered all of our questions about the drinks and food. The price was maybe a little bit high, but reasonable for current-day inflation. We went at a low point in the day, so it was very quiet. The outside seating is wonderful and has lots of shade.
