I have been going to this Chipotle once a month for more than 10 years. The food is usually great, with occasional erratic misses like stale un-salted chips, and soda machines without syrup.
The service is often rushed and less friendly than it used to be.
But today at 2pm, with at least 6 staff on duty and no line, every single table inside and out was dirty. That is so avoidable and an indicator of sloppy management.
It makes me worry about how clean it is behind the scenes.

The food portions here keep getting worse. They load up on rice and provide really stingy portions of actual healthy parts of this meal. Please stop doing this to your loyal customers.

So good the best Mexican food you will ever have! It is so good I go here anywhere and anytime! They have such great service and never cease to fulfill me! Their food is the perfect size so that no matter how hungry I am I always feel perfectly full! The burritos taste so good I would drive 3 hours just to have them for lunch!

Recently moved to Lafayette and started to patron the Lafayette Chipotle. This location has consistently been terrible with customer service.
Recently, my husband stopped at Chipotle on his way home from OAK airport, buying our whole family dinner. When he got home we realized they shorted us a burrito and large guac. I promptly called and spoke to a woman. She asked the young men working if they forgot to give us some of our food and they said yes. She was apologetic and said we could come back another time to get what we paid for and did not receive.
One week later my husband went in with our children purchasing $70 worth of food and the same woman who we spoke to on the phone was working and told my husband she could not recall our conversation the week prior and refused to give us what she promised and what we paid for.
It is absolutely absurd to punish paying patrons and to humiliate them with the assumption we are trying to get over on the establishment. We have no need or desire to take anything from
Chipotle that we have not paid for, but in our scenario we, the paying customer, were robbed. This woman humiliated my husband with her behavior as he stood in line with our children, this was completely uncalled for.
We will not return and will choose other, honest, locally owned and run establishments to give our business to.
Shame on you Chipotle of Lafayette!

They scoop a normal size of meat then shake over 2/3rds of the meat off, ?, I had to practically beg for a little extra which she reluctantly added about 1 tablespoon more to it.

Honestly deserves a lawsuit. They told me that my SERVICE DOG was not allowed in the building. He is a trained service dog with tags on and they immediately told me he couldn’t be in the building without even asking.
It was a woman with a ponytail, probably in her late 20s.
I’m leaving this review in hopes management sees this. As it is illegal to discriminate against service dogs.

I started visiting this store after the Walnut Creek location would be out of chips and cheese and rice two hours before closing. I like this spot much better as the lines are shorter and the service is quick. And if you are paying attention, the music selection at this Chipotle is different from all the others and it’s awesome. Very eclectic song choices and it makes coming here fun. The employees have also said they like the music too but don’t know where it’s sourced.I like the people who work here and most of them try hard to make good food and to be courteous. If I could criticize anything, it’s the fact they run out of ice far too frequently and the drink machine often isn’t working properly. And the cashier seems to not understand my wife and I don’t want to pay separately for our order. I cannot tell you how many times he has run up her food and tried to charge our card without adding what I ordered to the bill. Or he doesn’t include everything we ask for and then needs to run our card a second time.Oh yes, besides the good music, I think the plywood wall with different sized holes is super cool.Michael DelehantyCompass Real Estate
