You MUST try it. Fresh ingredients fantastic dinner. Owners and Staff are WONDERFUL, and of course Avery... he will sing you a birthday song that you will forever cherish...
Went there after a couple of years. One of the best outdoor patio in the area. It was a Taco Tuesday so tacos were $5each versus 3 for $22. Great service with beers, tacos and churros. Free chips and salsa. Don't waste $3 for the extra hot salsa. Not worth it. Surprised that it wasn't busier, but the menu prices are on the higher side. They may want to consider more lunch specials.
Quality, fresh and authentic Mexican food. Very pretty patio in the heart of Lafayette. Had a beautiful late afternoon lunch on their patio. Wait staff was very nice and attentive. The salsa homemade and flavorful. Chips homemade, guacamole delish. . A great neighborhood find!
Whoever the gentleman is that sings happy birthday has a great set of pipes. The waitress was very nice and laughed at our bad jokes. We very much appreciated that gesture of kindness. I wish the $5 tacos had more meat on them.
Enjoying a Sunday brunch at Rancho Cantina is a great way to spend an afternoon! My huevos rancheros were prepared in an interesting manner that I wasn't expecting and it was really nice. My partner's Californio Steak and Eggs were perfect. The food is always so fresh
The margaritas, chips, salsas, and guacomole were all good, and the service was friendly and quick. The rest of the food was mediocre to disappointing. The BBQ oysters were undercooked, watery, and flavorless. The carne asada and carnitas tacos were not good; the chicken tinga was better. The cheese enchiladas were at least...inoffensive. The Mexican rice side dish: inedible. Bill was almost $200 with tip.
Food was great, the wood fired grill smelled amazing and gave a nice flavor to the different dishes!
Great location, ate outdoors under heater lamp. Food and service excellent. They offer a discount for cash.
Excellent service and food. This is the only Mexican restaurant I've been to where you have to pay for beans and rice. That's kind of irritating.
Had a great meal last evening and everyone enjoyed their entree. Feel like food has improved with new owner.

Lovely evening in outside patio. Our server, Avery, is the best. He even sang Happy Birthday...what a voice! Delicious food and margaritas..
Great welcoming atmosphere and service. Yummy fajitas and margaritas. Also has a cute outdoor dining area.
We had a great dinner. Avery was fantastic, as usual as was our server. Food also delish! Thank you.
We enjoyed a Mother's Day Brunch at Rancho Cantina. Our table was ready outside by the fountain. Part of our party elected breakfast/brunch chilaquiles while others opted for lunch options from the regular menu. Everyone loved their choices. It was a beautiful and tasty day!
The food was very good. I like that it's not in the main strip area. Even though it is on a Main Street, the outdoor atmosphere was just right. Wait staff was wonderful. Great experience overall.
