It's not easy being a bartender, and it's also not easy to endure the attitude of a condescending bartender. If you must be difficult or unfriendly, at least have a personality. We are polite and tip well. Perhaps she was having an off day, but this place isn't worth any kind of hassle. Next.

Roxanne! I came for comedy but Roxanne rolled up and served me better than any of the girls in middle school. Jk she was so sweet and so supportive of women in comedy. Bocce ball. Pool tables. Live comedy. DT Lafayette is gorgeous!

Great dive bar. Has music on Friday nights. Saturdays too maybe? It's very popular with 20s & 30s crowds, but older folks frequent it as well. It gets going on the weekends and has a great patio. One of the best dive bars around. Only problem is there are not other dive bars around, so if you're in the mood to bar hop, maybe not the best option.

UPDATE: Backyard tent area is pretty nice, if you can stand the cigarette smoke. The parking lot has recently been paved. It's been a dirt lot for the 25 years I've been coming here. The smell has improved somewhat as they've renovated the bathrooms. I've not seen any cockroaches recently, so they seemed to have taken care of that problem. There's a soft spot in the floor near the back door (under which you'll need to duck if you're tall.)On the plus side, they have shuffleboard, pool tables, and live music on the weekends. Plenty of cold beer on tap. The spirit selection is definitely lower end. They don't have a great single malt selection, but it has recently improved with the addition of Laphroaig. This is not the place to take a client for a martini. This is a dirty, western dive bar.

This is a solid dive bar. Lots of locals as it's the only "bar" in town. Good crowd, good vibes, good staff. I usually come before the night crowd and bands so take that into account. To the moron (Kevin C.) complaining about a "changed tip amount" on his card- this is a cash only bar. Always has been. So do less drinking and you'll remember which bar actually charged that to your card.

Exactly as advertised-- dive bar with great service and customers from rough bikers to upscale tech workers. Loud music, good loud music!!

Bartenders here are a-holes. I'm no stranger to a good dive bar... spent many of hours in them across the country. But these guys are in a class of their own. We paid to play some country music on the app... bartender kept prioritizing his music to drive us out... hard metal alternative (not the 90's good stuff, but junk metal). We also bought 10 vodka sodas (all full) and briefly went to the shuffle board table.... They poured the new/full drinks out and tried to charge us for new ones. They clearly didn't want us in there (and we're locals). Not sure wtf... if I were the owners, I'd fire these Jack-monkeys. Maybe even take 'em out back for a gravel-face-lift attitude adjustment.

I never write reviews but from my experience I have to say this bar is kind of a joke. The bouncer they hired puts a bad face to their name. I came out on a whim with a friend to have a good time, instead he pocketed our IDs claiming they were fake. Maybe it was his height that made him insecure, but he acted very cocky and completely unprofessional. After refusing to give them back we decided to call the police. Once he heard us on the phone he ran to the back and decided to actually scan our ids properly. Totally unbelievable and deterred any desire to partake in this establishment. Living on East Carson st Pa, with over 40 bars on the strip, this has never happened to me. Considering checking IDs is the easiest job you could have on a slow night, Round Up Saloon needs to retrain their bouncers to work by the book, and act more professional. They are the first face you see when entering the business.

Inconsistent pricing based on the bartenders choice.Round 1Vodka tonic (grey goose) Jameson ginger$27Round 2ordered another vodka tonic, I pay $13 approx. is pay and ask for another jameson and ginger. Bartender tells me $20....this is AFTER paying the $13 for the vodka tonic. I only had $19 cash on me left. I give the bartender my $19 and head to the atm to get cash. Confused how the one unpaid drink all of a sudden is now $20. . Come back and I see bartender flirting with two ladies, hands them each a shot and tell them $10 to which he cheers them and partakes in having a shot with them. ...Eventually the other bartender asks if I need help, I say just waiting to pay for a $20 jameson and ginger. Bartender #2 takes my money and I reiterate... so this jameson and ginger is $20 yet the two shots served to the two ladies cost them $10, he then talks to bartender #1, who then tells me it was $20 for the two drinks. I tell him I already paid for the vodka tonic. There is more but this is now the second time where prices round one was vastly different t from the first. Point is , I called him out and either way first round was under $27. Second round of the same drinks all of a sudde. Cost

Inept bar security pocketed my friend and my IDs because he thought they were fake.... didn't give them back until he realized we were calling the police to have someone come out to get our legitimate IDs back... How is it that your sole job is to check IDs and you don't have the ability to differentiate a real ID from a fake one.. Totally killed our night and wasted our time. He was extremely rude.

I went to get a drink with my friend and after the first security checked out ids and almost let us in the second older petite security guy asked to see them again and then proceeded to pocket our IDs and say "we're good here". We were confused and asked if he was going to give them back and he said no they are clearly fake. Both my friend and I are 24 years old and had valid IDS and I also was visiting via plane so we had to call the police to report that our IDs were falsely taken. He continued to berate us and act as if we were bluffing when we clearly were not. Once he realized we really were calling the police he went in and scanned it and verified they are real and handed them back. No apology or anything. Sir if you can't tell a real CALIFORNIAN ID from a fake I suggest a new profession.
