Great vibe-crowded and bustling! Wanted to try everything on the menu. Will for sure be back.

Sandy was amazing, I really enjoyed her service level and attitude. The hostess was awesome and very helpful getting the TV turned to the Playoffs Yankee Game.

Music was too loud on outdoor patio. We were there from 5:30 - 7:30. It did get better later in evening. Also I put on Open table reservation that it was a birthday celebration but no one recognized that. Food was great.

First time trying this place. It was a game afternoon, but surprisingly not too busy for a Sunday. We skipped appetizers and went straight for the entrées.

Our group ordered the fried chicken sandwich, Ahi tuna burger, regular burger, and shrimp & grits. Most dishes were good, but I had to return the fried chicken sandwich—it was overly burnt and tasted like it had been fried in old oil. I swapped it for the Cooper Girl, which turned out to be excellent. Service was okay, but not particularly outstanding.

This was our first time here. We sat at the bar and Sandy took extremely good care of us. Even though she was pretty busy, she seemed very relaxed and confident and personable. She knew exactly when to appear and when to give us a minute. We were extremely happy with the hospitality that she provided. I ordered the fried chicken which was pretty good but could have used more seasoning. The mashed potatoes were delicious but because everything was so rich, it was begging for a mound of coleslaw on the plate, not just a smattering on top of the potatoes. I’m extremely grateful that Sandy asked if I would like the sweet sauce that it comes with to be on the side. Truthfully, it looked and tasted like a small pitcher of karo syrup. I had a tiny taste and was done. No bueno! My husband had the fish tacos and he said that they were just okay. Needed seasoning. The atmosphere is good and it’s located in the beautiful Broadway Plaza and you can park for free in a nearby parking garage. I would try it again, maybe for a burger.

We are outside and that was nice. I have to say the restaurant had a moldy/mildewy odor. I would not eat indoors. The food was ok nothing great. Probably will not return

We had a lovely dinner on the patio. There is an extensive menu, so something for everyone. The garlic cheese bread was a fun starter. I enjoyed my chicken pot pie and my husband's fish and chips were equally delicious. The Cooperage has a nice relaxed vibe.

Great food. Service good. Had to go get someone a few times, but no biggee, all good. Manager came to our table and made everything great again. Just a little mix up with my friends burger. She made it right. My friend was happy! I thought to try the restaurant in WC ..I knew they were great when I use to go to them when they were still in Lafayette. I figured the restaurant in WC wouldn't let me down. For the most part, it didn't. A bit expensive for a hamburger. $25. Maybe bring that down , just a bit. Good menu.

One of my absolute favorite meals in Walnut Creek is their ahi tuna appetizer. High protein. Fresh. Excellent every time I order (which is every week!) Love sitting at the bar— bartenders Miles and Sandy make the experience perfect. Highly recommend The Coop!!!

Came for lunch and loved it. We were pretty dang hungry so we ordered a couple of apps in addition to our entrees. Really delicious! The buratta was a highlight for the apps. I got a Niçoise salad and it was delish. Drinks were also good. Would def come back! Service was also super friendly

We went for lunch at the Cooperage American Grille yesterday and it was a great experience. We were greeted with a smile from the host and provide us with a covered outside table. Our waitress, Jennifer, couldn't have been nicer. She did make us feel rushed and took her time to explain the menu items. We selected the Salmon entrees and with veggies. The chef did a great job, cooking the fish to our liking. The staff here is friendly and professional. The sitting has a very comfortable vibe and is open and airy. They have a full bar and great selection of wine, in addition to the food menu. Another plus is the location. You are steps away from parking and Walnut Creek shopping. Coming here made a great day even better. We will definitely be back!

Cool place with great wine tasting lunches on wednesdays! Better than going to wine country! Silver oak/twomey started with ceviche and perfectly paired sauvi b. 2nd course was delicious mushroom risotto followed by lamb lollipop! Paired with 2 different Pinot Noirs. Grand finale chocolate cake with the Silver Oak! And u can buy the wine by the case at a steep discount!
