Viewed "Check Please Bay Area" which was the reason I wanted to try this restaurant. From that, they raved about the chicken, which was good but not great, as I was hoping. And did not expect the side kale to be spicy. My wife loved the grilled cheese and tomato soup.
First time for us and another couple... We each loved what we ordered, staff friendly and knowledgeable. We'll be back!!!
Always love coming here for lunch. Food is delicious and ingredients fresh. It's so pleasant to sit and chat with friends on the patio. Coffee is excellent. Service is great.
We really enjoyed our brunch meal with friends at this great establishment. We'll be coming back again soon!
Checked in early and had a drink at the bar. No problem getting a table 15 minutes after our scheduled reservation time
I have been wanting to try the Hideout Kitchen for awhile. It did not disappoint, the servers were very friendly and helpful. The overall service was fabulous. We had brunch on a Saturday we all enjoyed our meals and we indulged in the waffle churros for dessert, they were amazing I highly recommended them.
Lisa is awesome!!! I come there a lot and her and the team are always standout! Thanks for hosting me and my group again!
My first time at The Hideout Kitchen and loved everything. I started with house salad which was so good. I ordered honey fried chicken for my main meal and it was melt in your mouth delicious. I ordered a Lemon Tart for dessert and it was super delicious. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend.
My favorite brunch place hands down! Great food and vibes. Several vegetarian options as well. My fave is their mascaparone toast (it comes with a generous helping of cream and butter so be prepared lol) Staff agree friendly and welcoming. Can get busy during weekends and maybe a slight wait time as well. Plenty of parking nearby but it's metered.
Since the move to their new location, I feel like the Hideout lost the magic to a fair extent. The food which was previously excellent feels a little bit lacking, with less consistency and quality than before. Service is good, and seems to be improving with time, although it definitely feels somewhat disorganized for such a large space. The interior is very loud, and would definitely benefit from significant soundproofing. Not writing the Hideout off just yet, but it's definitely a disappointing shift from the excellence at their previous location.

Great place for Mother’s Day brunch
Drinks are really good. Highly recommend the frosé
Despite me messing up the time of our reservation, the staff was super forgiving and accommodating. Dinner was very good. Service was terrific.
We ordered tuna and brisket paninis. Tuna was great but brisket was tough. The drinks were also very good. But came after food even though they were ordered way before.
Hit or miss on where they seat you at very specific times. Some chairs are unbearably uncomfortable. Food is good though.
