My review is just for the bar, since I've only ever been to the bar. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They serve food at the bar in addition to the usual bar beverages. I was pleased to see that they also had a couple great non-alcoholic beer options.

Bunch of loud screaming women in their 30’s both in the bar and restaurant on a Thursday night. Food was average. Everything covered in oil. Miss the old Hide Out. If you’re looking for a nice relaxing dinner with your SO, this is not the place.

Venue great. Food delicious. Hostess fine. Server fine but obviously had too many tables to cover. 6pm res but main course not tabled until after 7:30pm. Server too busy to check on us while other staff eventually brought food out. Had to wave down server for the bill (we were all trying to get his attention). Not good enough for a 5 star review. We will come back but service needs to be improved.

This is a new staple in Lafayette for sure! We loved everything about it. From the servers to the managers to the hosts. Everyone we came in contact with was clearly happy to be there and that is huge. The food was wonderful. The desserts were shockingly delicious. We ate them, even though we were stuffed Because we couldn't resist.

First time at the new location. A little incognito, the sign could be bigger lol but that's why they call it the Hideaway. I had the salmon and the other couple both had the lamb my wife had the special which was halibut. All perfectly cooked and delicious. We had a nice bottle of red wine and split cheesecake for dessert. Wonderful evening great service!

Nicely appointed restaurant with courteous service and tasty food and gourmet, delicious desserts. A word of caution. There is no free parking as it's in a metered plaza and just make sure you put money in the meter as you will get a ticket like we did if you park before 7 PM Monday through Sunday.

Disappointing lack of vegetarian, vegan or kids options on the brunch menu. The harvest frittata was colorful but bland, lacking any interesting seasoning. There were no whole grain bread options available. It's a great location in the center of my home town, and a nice setting/ambience inside, but the menu really lets it down.

We had the salmon and linguini with clams. Both dishes were perfection. We sat a the bar and Alonzo helped us. He made some special requests happen which we appreciated. This staff is so professional and the food is so good. It was packed by 5:30.

First off let me start with positives. We got seated super fast, the food was decent and it was quiet. Now, after getting seated super quick, we waited 30 mins for anyone to even make contact with us. I had to walk to the host and ask where our server was. She said she would connect with the server and 10 mins went by and still no one. A woman finally locked eyes with me and said “are you waiting for something?” I stated “we've been waiting for our waiter for the past 30 mins.” (We left my son's game and arrived there at 7:37pm, it was about 8:45pm at this time. She said she would go find our server. 5 mins go by and a man comes by and says are you guys still waiting for someone? I stated - yes we've been waiting. He stated he didn't even know who are server even was which was crazy. He blamed the host as if it was her fault. Overall it was just horrid. Mind you we were there with 4 little ones who were starving, and we were hoping to catch a quick good dinner after a long day. I would come back for the food but that service was just the worst.

Food was fantastic as always. Service was very slow at first. Waited 20 minutes for drinks Once food came they were attentive Noise level was very high and it was difficult to talk without yelling. There was a large party of about 20 which may have been the cause

From Nextdoor reviews, unfortunately our lunch was disappointing. The food was mediocre, and while we were waiting for our outside table to become available the inside of the restaurant was so terribly noisy you couldn't hear any conversation. Glad we sat outside. However, our server Emma was outstanding in every way. Over all, we are not anxious to return in the near future. Not sure we would recommend this experience to our friends.

It's not much of a Hideout anymore, the place is huge compared to the previous location! The service was very good, the food looked good but, fell short in my opinion since the Smoked Salmon Benedict and potatoes were barely luke warm, served on a thin & cold plate...Someone mentioned it seemed like the place had undertones of a Sports Bar with the TVs going and I have to mention the annoying music thumping in the background like a club getting ready for the night crowd when having Brunch.

I love the Hideout. However, last night we had a bit of trouble getting a seat outside. We finally did. Hard to request on Open Table reservations. Also, one person's food arrived quite a bit before the other person's food came out. All in all though, great a new gal was doing her best. She was very sweet.

My curried chicken wrap was incredibly dry and totally lacking any curry flavor. There was nothing to bind the ingredients (dry chunks of chicken and very dry potatoes) and lots of quinoa and brown rice. As soon as I bit into it the ingredients fell out because there was no yogurt or mayonnaise to hold it together. All in all...very disappointing.
