It's truly disappointing that a restaurant with such fantastic food and a stunning atmosphere is let down by its poor service. The waitstaff is slow to respond, and they leave dirty plates sitting on the table between courses, which really detracts from the overall experience. This place has the potential to be the BEST restaurant in Lafayette, BUT the staff clearly lacks proper training. They urgently need to invest in better training or consider replacing the entire team, starting with the host at the front who sets the tone for the whole dining experience.

Highly recommend, we were celebrating our anniversary on a Monday eve and it was quite busy, which says a lot about a place. Food and service was awesome! Patio atmosphere was one of the best, it's enclosed with air conditioning with a patio feel. Was great for a hot evening. Will definitely go back. The crab cakes and beet salad are a must!
I was previewing the Park Bistro for a later luncheon for six. Decided not to recommend it because so few people made it irritatingly noisy inside. Acoustics? The oft recommended quiche was dry and disappointing. The salad looked nice with strawberries and almonds, but I prefer a little taste to the dressing. My husband's hamburger was so-so. A disappointing visit.
Beautiful setting, delicious food and great service. We enjoyed the chicken and the pork chop and will come back for more. Vivian was our wait staff for dinner and it was so nice to see her again.
Sarah is the greatest helpful one.

Every aspect of my meal was sensational. My guests were not quite as enthusiastic as I was but they also really liked the cooking. The service was amazing. The ambience is delightful. For a classy place, the cost was very reasonable. btw, we ate in the main dining room - facing the courtyard fountain, not in the bar/bistro.
We made dinner reservations to celebrate our civil wedding yesterday and are very glad we did! They started us off with a celebratory champagne and ended with tasty desserts. The hostess/bartender was very accommodating, and our server was the best cheerleader to start a long-lasting marriage. Thank you so much, Park Bistro!

Long-time guests... since opening as the Duck Club..recent remodel adds another level of sophistication to the dining room. We enjoy the personal level of service as not easy to find in 510 and 925. Vivian is extremely attentive, as is all the staff. We appreciate the resort like accommodations. Wish the Valet would return..for that extra car to table experience, but oh...well.
Servers were very nice. Very pretty interior. Have been many times in the past and food was great. Not this time. Entree and appetizer were really bad - like they forgot some ingredients to make it edible.

Not seated until 7:10 with a 6:30 reservation on a Monday evening. No table service for another 30 minutes. Finally was served after 8:00. That server was not interested in customer care. Too bad. Hostess started crying when we gently brought this to her attention. We were also guests at the hotel. Bad reflection on the whole operation. They know better than that.
Scrumptious lunch, excellent service. Can't get over the friendliness of the staff. Everyone greeted us when we arrived and said good-bye when we left. The valet made sure that our car was safe and guided us to the exit.
We went to Lafayette Park Hotel Park bistro and bar for an office celebration. As as usual, we had a very enjoyable time and our server. Jolene was wonderful. The food was very well prepared. Several of us had the chicken pita which we enjoyed enormously. We have had many enjoyable lunches, dinners, and parties at Lafayette Park Hotel. Twice we have had private rooms and I've always been pleased and enjoyed our celebrations.
We were a party of 3 people for a late Saturday lunch. We had 3 main courses, one beginning plate of fishcakes to share, and one shared dessert. All food choices beat our high expectations, aside from steak frites where the meat, while plentiful, appeared to be an average quality. Wait service was excellent.
There were three of us celebrating the birthday of one our closest friends. We dined in the patio next to the bar. We enjoyed an order of the calamari with our cocktails ,which were prepared and tasted delightful. Our food server, Kim ,was very congenial helpful and prompt, as was the bus man. We all ordered the short ribs. They were served and cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. After dinner our guest was served a complimentary dessert and and my wife had the caramel dessert. I had vanilla ice cream with a glass of Dows 10 year old port. All of the desserts were delicious and the port superb. Overall a very nice quiet Sunday night dinner.
